Most of his catches are so well earned. He's not a guy that gets up and spins the ball after a 16 yard catch. He's too busy checking all his faculties.

Kelly looks real impressed with his coaches feedback after that int. Seems like a guy hard to cheer for. -

In a game like this where points are a premium, it puts OS in a very difficult position. -

I know it feels at times we’re having an average season but we are 10 and 4. We’re in the mix. I’d still take ZC out of all the starting QB’s. -

Nah not that far off when the Bombers are firing on all cylinders, I like our chances. Obviously consistency is the issue this year, some guys seem a bit older slower a bit off this year and our game plans on both sides of the ball is sometimes suspect especially when we play from behind, but I think we’ll be okay. Hopefully the bye will recalibrate us appropriately. Obviously the TO game coming up will tell us a lot. -

Obviously I'd like us to win out the season but I like our chances no matter where we play. Just use and execute the blue print we use when we drop fifty plus and give little, we'll be fine. -

We’re in the playoffs. I like our chances with the group we have. Wouldn’t take anyone else over us. Don’t care if we play at home or away (although home would be nice for revenue and noise -

I'll be greedy and ask for more. I'm asking for a Grey Cup and Stanley Cup win. Okay okay I know. I need to adjust my expectations. I'll take a Grey Cup win this year with a full GM review when/if we (the Jets) don't make the playoffs. -
Winnipeg Jets 2023 Off-Season Thread

Excerpt quoting CH taken from the Winnipeg Sun: “If I say anything now, it could change tomorrow,” Hellebuyck said. “It’s the business side of things. I have an open mind. I’m not closing the door on anything. I’m going to look at anywhere that I think can win a Cup, and I know this locker-room can win a Cup. That’s how hard I worked all summer. That’s how hard I’ve worked my whole career. “I’m going to win a Cup, and wherever I can win a Cup is where I want to be.” So sorry to beat this horse to death but with the fervour I see some here in stating that it is not the intention of the Winnipeg Jets this year to win the Stanley Cup, they should indeed then trade CH and MS immediately. Knowing I'm probably being naive but a simple question I would love to pose to GM KC is just a simple yes or no answer with no qualifiers (ie: but, if, ideally, etc) Was it your goal immediately after the Jets were ousted from the 2022/2023 playoff race to put together a locker room for this upcoming 2023/2024 season to realistically win the cup this year? I think that's a fair question with the reasonable expectation of receiving a direct truthful answer. -
I just want to do my part based on what the professionals are recommending us do to take care of ourselves and each other. We are in a societal health crisis not knowing all the answers, lots of uncertainties, science is trying to figure things out. You're being fooled. Don't be a sheep. 99.9% of people are fine. Only old frail people are dying. There is no crisis. Our freedoms are being taken away. Jobs are being lost. They're shutting things down to control us with experimental drugs. Freedom isn't free buddy. My freedoms and rights don't stop at your fears. They are coercing us to do things that have no basis in fact. We the fringe. What is wrong with you? You're being very mean and shaming. I'm just asking reasonable questions. Wow. So polarizing in you're echo chamber of fellow libtards. So divisive. And here we are.
-
This is exactly true.
-
Yup it brought out the true colors in a lot of us. Crisis usually does that.
-
Yup the majority of well trained, well educated, well experienced, well respected Canadian and International experts and specialists in many different areas of science, medicine, ethics etc etc completely dupe people with the word effective and completely gloss over elephant in the room type questions when testing the effectiveness of efficacy of treatment type substances. But only for Covid type ailments. The biggest issue for you is not the science, it's being mandated to do something that requires a choice on your part. I find it completely ironic that some of the same anti-science, anti-evidence people for years have told people that if they don't like our country than get the hell out but now are saying Canada is becoming a third world anti-freedom dictatorship . Are they going to heed their own advice they provide to others who slog this country for other reasons?
-
You're absolutely correct, especially when you write the bolded part.

Right, asking questions, raising concerns, informing yourself are good. No one here on this board that I've seen is suggesting blind faith. Real experts and specialists trained and experienced in specific areas can help inform people in how to be a responsible citizen, how to make good decisions for themselves, their families and people they care about knowing the benefit/risks involved. With your original dumb and dangerous post (I'm not calling you dumb, I'm calling your post dumb), it's completely misrepresenting the science and how our system works which is not perfect but it's pretty damn good. This anecdotal story that always sticks out to me was a nurse telling people she was treating a patient who was spewing nonsense about the safety and purpose of vaccines. She was treating him on an unrelated condition to Covid, pumping him full 5 different substances but nothing from him about what she was ingesting into his body.
