  1. Parker Ford next man up. Current leading goal getter for the Moose. Will be interesting to see what he brings at the NHL level.
  2. To me a name that starts with U would be cool that could go with a double U theme. Sort of like the double E here with the Edmonton Elks.
  3. Probably located on Karen's or Gary's page stocked full of sport and non-sport 'truth's' and 'facts' for all the sheep out there. It's a service they provide as givers to society.
  4. I find use of the word bold or using the terms hot take, unpopular opinion to describe what one is doing really means look at me look at me I want attention. Not every time but sometimes.
  5. I’m seeing a Glenn Suitor joke in here somewhere. Help a guy out here @rebusrankin
  6. Fly Eagles Fly! My boy's a huge fan, I could care less about the NFL but thought I would throw that out for him. 🙂
  7. Being nosy but don't really care at the EOD, wondering the specifics of the alleged squabbles between Nuck's JT Miller and Elias Pettersson? I'm sure Redditt's got it covered but don't like to wander around those parts if I can help it.
  8. To my untrained eye in watching Miller when he has played this year, sitting him makes no sense to me. I would think he grades out higher than how it shows here but what do I know as a random poster on the worldwide web.
  9. 90%?? Way too low. Every receiver better learn how to block.
  10. That would be outstanding to watch. I would pay premium dollar for court side tickets.
  11. That's okay, you don't need to follow hockey, all you need to know is the Leaf's suck and will always suck. And now you have the only answer you will need to reply to any hockey related question you may get. For example, 'hey do you know how many regular season games there are in the NHL?' Your reply, Sure I know that. Leafs suck and will always suck.
  12. My response: Simply physically being at work doesn't mean you're working.
  13. Fair and also need to move on from players (e.g., JT) who we can't trust to be consistent with their play on the field.
  14. I see they don’t call initial cross checks by Calgary just the follow up cross checks by Winnipeg. Ffs
  15. 2.87 .904 11 starts not bad. Healthy run support today would be appreciated.
  16. If that's what highly skilled football people with minimal bias say then so be it I'm off the mark truly but to my untrained technical football eye, even when he's fresh off a rotation, it still feels we are playing with 11 players on the field, getting washed out consistently, no push with the odd tackle/pressure made but no consistency of play we expect with his reps. I think that's a reasonable request. It feels like playing sports where you had to hide that one player in the starting roster with the goal of minimal negative impact. E.g., like shoving the worst player to right field in baseball but the good teams would still take advantage of it.
  17. The injury to Chibrikov is quite unfortunate.
  18. Fleury and Stanley healthy scratches I assume? Arniel busy with his blender I see.
  19. I'm sorry, who's this Harris you talk of?
  20. I'm a guy that doesn't take himself seriously but I take what I do for a profession seriously. This is a serious issue and the guy who threw the nacho's on the ice has to be dealt with and used as an example to help deter future behaviour like this, i.e., lifetime ban from the arena. This could give other low critical thinkers ideas where it aint nachos but something more dangerous. In this particular case making it funny and not serious comes with a risk which behind the scenes I'm hoping they aren't.
  21. Ouch, that’s gentleman sweep to you.
  22. Just make the damn playoffs. I assume nothing until that's confirmed.
  23. I did say praise and/or blame is distributed in varying percentages across the players, not distributed equally but the point remains QB1 is the guy who runs the show but can't do it all by himself, needs to be surrounded by a good supporting cast and have coaches/management who field this supporting cast and put them in positions to be successful that play to the QB's strengths. So when autopsies of games are done, yes bad QB play is exposed but what also is exposed is bad supporting cast play and bad coaching/management decisions. The beauty of breaking down game tape that as fans usually don't see and have the skill to understand what transpired from plays being whistled in to whistled dead. I've attended these game tape reviews in minor football and things were flying over my head constantly and/or helped me understand what was really going on that I didn't catch in real time.
