  1. O’Leary: MBT’s leadership tough to replace: What the Toronto Argonauts might miss the most about McLeod Bethel-Thompson is his unique leadership, says http://CFL.ca senior writer Chris O'Leary. Riiighhht unique 'leadership' is exactly what I saw on TO's sideline and pressers with MBT leading the charge.
  2. Hope so because the central is tight tight tight. We go on the opposite of a heater and we could be looking from the outside in. I don't care where we finish, just make the damn playoffs and anything can happen. And yes, Mr. Chevy helloooooooo??? (yea I know he absolutely adores fans giving him advice).
  3. My worry at this point is just making the playoffs let alone worrying about what happens in them. Call me a nervous nelly lifelong Jet fan.
  4. Just a little bit more on this prick taken from Newsweek: Democratic Representative Cliff Groh, who used to work as a prosecutor covering child abuse allegations, said he was "disturbed" by Easterman's comment. Representative Sarah Vance, the Republican who claims the House Judiciary Committee, said Easterman, who doesn't serve on any committees, had been at the hearing "at my invitation." According to the Anchorage Daily News, she added: "I wished that he asked questions with a little bit more sensitivity to the listeners and how they're perceived, and I can have that conversation. "But he's there on his own accord and only represents himself." Vance later suggested Eastman had been trying to make an argument against abortion, which some consider to be "child abuse." Speaking with the Anchorage Daily News via text message, Eastman said: "I was pleased to hear ACT advocating against child abuse, but a child's value comes not from future productivity, but from the fact that every child is made in the image of God." Newsweek has contacted Eastman to ask if he stands by his original remarks. Eastman, a former soldier, was reelected to the Alaska House of Representatives in November 2022. A lawsuit was filed attempting unsuccessfully to bar Eastman from office due to his membership of the Oath Keepers, a right-wing paramilitary group. A number of Oath Keepers have been convicted over their role in the storming of Congress on January 6 2021, it a bid to stop the 2020 presidential election result being certified. Eastman was present in Washington, D.C. that day but there is no indication he took part in the disturbances, which he condemned. He later promoted a discredited conspiracy theory, suggesting the violence could have been committed by left-wing movement Antifa.
  5. House of cards. Depending on who you are, Acts like this, subpoena's etc mean nothing in the current US political climate.
  6. I think your last sentence makes your second sentence question moot.
  7. Hopefully our receiving core gives him plenty of practice kicking converts. I'll take 85% on FGM and 93% on CM for this upcoming season. As long as he shows gradual improvement and keeps his passport intact.
  8. In other words derp derp derpidity derp.
  9. Welcome to loyalty. It’s a ***** at times. See current Blue Bombers as an example of the payoff tho.
  10. Wooops. I had good intentions.
  11. Ruh Roh. I never thought about that. Ooops.
  12. Here's hoping so we can listen to the TSN/Sportsnet panelists frown their way thru the next rounds working in Leaf chatter wherever they can. E.g., 'Wow their PP is really clicking tonight which reminds me of Auston Matthews and how great he is'.
  13. Have we arrived at the acceptance stage yet where we can rid this thread into obscurity?
  14. I've never enjoyed this players style of play. He'll fit well into's DD's persona.
  15. Subpoenas? Lol.
  16. While making gobs and gobs of money, money, money.
  17. And even if was a conservative leaning judge, they would refer to their Trump handbook and scream Conservative in name only.
  18. Yup. Not every Trump supporter is racist but every racist is a Trump supporter.
  19. (Beating a joke to death) But pump the brakes, Trevor Harris is playing some of the best football of his life.
  20. And a top tier QB playing with an edge (see 2022 GC game) to get the ball to them.
