I don't know where this goes so I'm putting it in this thread. More motivating than good at least to me. It's sports related but cuts across everything imo. I've always been uncomfortable with carte blanche statements like 'don't care what others say about me' mantra without first getting that the complexity of doing this depending on what the specific context is. I find constantly espousing 'I'm a moderate, everyone's bad' annoying as hell.

Thing is ma and pa maga aren’t looking for him to do these things, he’s emulating how they think, giving their lunacy mainstream legitimacy, He’s doing exactly what they want.

Yet some idolize and/or explain it away and/or say yea but everyone's bad minimizing the severity of this. This is not being dramatic. This is not the same as other bad people in American Politics. This is really dangerous for all of us sane people. Any average American would be wasting away in a jail cell. Justice is not blind and there are people above the law. I have absolutely no confidence Justice will prevail here. If anything, and predictably already reported, this is just another grifting opportunity for him, his family and his enablers. Until these ghouls feel real hurt (hurt financially, hurt status wise and hurt their ability to be independent) they will continue to mock, smirk and giggle their way to the bank.

The irony here is the post you are responding to clearly exhibits the heavy bias they cast out onto CBC. Everyones bias except the stuff I believe.

With all of that said, I hold little hope that he and his equally psychopath family members will feel any real consequences for their words and actions. The Justice System as a whole appears afraid of them with a smattering of their legal foot soldiers trying to fight the good fight pushing that heavy boulder up a steep mountain.
