  1. Apparently there is a huge demand for dumbness, stupidity, drivel that is being supplied by certain people and as a result they are making gobs of money.
  2. Isn't this like saying seatbelts kill you sheep (although there is a mountain of evidence that clearly shows seatbelts save lives), stop making seatbelts mandatory because my uncle's sister's friend's cousin knew somebody who drowned because their seatbelt malfunctioned and as a result couldn't get their seatbelt off in time to get out of their car that plunged into a riverbank.
  3. And get your Debit/Visa card out, you’re going to need it.
  4. Yup but Aaron Rupar has it wrong actually. He’s very good at this because he knows, and his handlers know, every time people like Rupar try to twitter shame him, his hardcore supporters will contribute more money that will, as @JConhas said, be funnelled right to his bank account.
  5. I literally think some people, and not just politicians btw, sit down with their handlers to brainstorm how can they make the most money for their own personal worth (capital, status), do they play the good guy or the villain with the skill sets we have? Then they go all in on whatever side they choose. This choice most times has nothing to do with how it aligns with who they may really be or anything else other than what will generate the most capital for their own personal bank accounts (usually 'offshore). And this process is better facilitated in the present climate of no real consequences for one's behaviour the higher you are up the ladder.
  6. And we're all F***** sells as well. Heading after heading reads like 'The world is ending, why it's time to panic'.
  7. Grandstander vs Grandstander. 10 bucks they have a different relationship where limited eyes and ears are allowed in.
  8. Again Lindell is seeing this first and foremost as a business opportunity to grift people as crazy or more crazy then him. Him and others are playing the system because they can. It’s as simple as that, everything else is secondary whether you are a elected official, business person, entertainer, influencer, advocate, athlete etc etc etc. follow the money, supply and demand. Capitalism at its finest.
  9. Even if one doesn’t click on the ‘article’ the headline has already done its job, ie anxiety up. Yes blocking it all together is a good strategy or staying off social media.
  10. I’ve said this at the start of this crap pandemic and still stick to it. Some headline writers and the people they work for and with should be out of jobs and be ordered to apologize for all the anxiety they’ve created. Have you no shame?
  11. Business opportunity first and foremost.
  12. Whether true or not some headline writers and hockey writers make it very difficult not to hate the Leafs.
  13. LeBrun: The Leafs are showing no reason not to believe in them. Ongoing ad nauseum headlines like the above give me solid reasons to really hate the Leafs. Go any team that plays the Leafs.
  14. Stop calling them politicians, lawmakers and start calling them ethically and morally corrupt entrepreneurs.
  15. We need to stop calling them anti-vaxxers and call them anti-science, anti-logic, anti-evidence, anti-fact, anti-intelliegence, anti-coherence etc etc etc.
  16. And they're the first ones to pick up a red bull and a hot dog at sev without blinking an eye. Sigh.
  17. How about if immunized you can walk around freely with no mask if you choose you don’t want to wear one? If not immunized either you are free to leave or you can walk around freely with required N95 mask?
  18. Coming with no policy progress, no final action on voting rights = Grandstanding nothing more.
  19. Just to split hairs I’d rather not call them vaccine passports but rather have people show their immunization cards. The cynical part of me tho is all this will lead to is a huge spike in black market revenue because, you know, human beings. I’m becoming less and less of a fan of our species.
  20. It’s like showing two middle fingers to the public and saying hey I’ve earned this, you’re lucky to have me. Remember who I am Look how well I speak I don’t have to explain anything to any of you minions. I have people who have people. Now let me go make my usual back door deals with equally disingenuous sneaky morally corrupt people of all ilk including Republicans, Democrats, executives from Fortune 500 corporations, members of the media and so forth and so forth.
  21. Like I said f’ing Pelosi with her rational. Being a politician of any stripe is just a huge grift that comes in many shapes and sizes hiding behind the ‘I’m here for the people’ lie.
  22. Some Journalists need to stop writing 'some claimed without evidence' when it comes to describing their drivel. Call it drivel, lies, stupidity with absolutely no basis in actual reality. Kind words is not appropriate here. It's killing people.
  23. f’ing Pelosi arguing house and senate members should be allowed to trade because we live in a free market. You can spin it all you want but it doesn’t take any high level of intellectual prowess to know the extreme unfair advantage they have. What was that term again? INSIDER KNOWLEDGE! Gee I wonder why politicians are seen in a bad light.
  24. From the Washington Post US Attorney General Merrick commenting on holding all those responsible for the January 6th, 2021 riot at the Capitol: "There cannot be different rules for the powerful and the powerless." Did he say this with a straight face? What a joke. Like seriously. What. A. Joke. The legal 'system' is not a system. It's becoming more and more of a farce made up of a variety of silos where certain players responsible for it's interpretation and implementation in these silos hide behind the word 'independence' and/or terms like 'Justice is blind'.
  25. Thanks for that uplifting speech but you're right.
