  1. Yup they’ll be the Pittsburgh Penguins of the CFL.
  2. I don’t think so. My guess is I don’t think he wants to be that type of player, rental follow the money type player to end his career.
  3. Everyone one on the team wears horns, different sizes depending but still all wear. Win as a team, lose as a team. Ultimate team sport.
  4. Boy, a lot of heavy weights on that list. 🙂
  5. A bit frustrating to read your comment that our receivers didn’t know what to do in Zone D? Did they not expect it in preparing during the week? Jeebus.
  6. Man, of course MOS isn't going to throw anyone under the bus, just like some of us normal people don't throw our team members/others under the bus. It's nothing sainthood, it's called being a professional. However there is a way at communicating to others outside of your team that we take improvement seriously, here are the areas we are working on, here's where we know where we need to get better, when looking back we might have re-thought certain decisions we made as a coaching staff and as the HC here's where I need to get better. Notice no where in there did I point a finger at anyone. You way oversimplified the issue here my friend. Anyone who leads a team with specific responsibilities and accountabilities in a organization will know this.
  7. And when I say incorporate qb2, I don't mean decoy for the love of goodness.
  8. I know I'd appreciate if we went back to having a qb2 who is more than a short yardage specialist that you can incorporate him into your #1 offense to keep the D off balance but that's just me.
  9. I literally just read this in a southern drawl.
  10. Hawerchuk should have been awarded both an assist and a goal for every one of PM's 'goals' but with a thank you to PM from the announcer. 🙂 Scored by #10 Dale Hawerchuk, assisted by #10 Dale Hawerchuk with special thanks once again to our favorite bank off man #15 Paul MacLean!
  11. Your last sentence imo is a reasonable expectation especially with all the tools available to athletes these days.
  12. Sure but when I hear the word legend, Dinwiddie's name does not come to mind (maybe in time). But hey to each their own.
  13. Dinwiddie = Cal Murphy? Wash your mouth out with soap. 🙂
  14. An Argo? Blech. Okay, fine. Even though there may be a million LB’s kicking around down south, translating one of them into being a good/great CFL middle linebacker is where our scouts make their salary states captain obvious.
  15. With JM getting fired, how soon does another team axe their HC so they can scoop JM up? My guess this happens sooner than later. What team? Let's go with Detroit.
  16. See I'm different than you here on this (not right or wrong just different), I don't think I have any right to know anything in how MOS and Crew run their football team, I just think certain things are pretty reasonable and fair to ask them. It's up to the person (s) receiving the question whether they want to answer. Their answer or non-answer can be telling.
  17. A genuine question I would like to ask MOS and crew is other than short yardage and your starting QB unable to go because physically he can't return due to serious injury, what circumstances do you and your coaching staff use to determine there is a need to make a switch at QB in-game? For sure there's a better way in asking this question, but is it reasonable to ask this flavor of question without being mocked that I think I know more than MOS and his crew know? I think it's a reasonable question to receive some specifics even if we have made 5 GC appearances in a row (hopefully 6 next year) which I am forever thankful.
  18. Yea its great playing like we only have 11 defensive players on the field but know that's okay cuz he's a great leader in the locker room and he's earned the right to go out on his own terms said no one who is paying attention to the big picture.
  19. O'Day thinking to himself while shaking his head side to side: 'should have consulted with me RC. I got this down pat'.
  20. I'm wondering if anyone has countered this with a few videos displaying other aspects of his game. I'm with JBR, it's best to say nothing and chat about this behind closed doors but thank you internet for all you do.
  21. Winning is usually a great formula for maximum bums in seats.
  22. I would have rolled the dice and kept with Wilson and sat ZC after he came back to the sideline. I see the upside of putting JD in but Wilson was more involved in the game by scoring a TD earlier in the game. But this is why I'm probably not the coach. 🙂
  23. Perfect question to open up a discussion this off-season on how to improve the role and consistency of how CC operates. I think that's a fair and reasonable ask.
  24. Maybe with Stanley we show some patience and we get lucky on many fronts by allowing him to cut his teeth, fail, learn and develop on the job but still enjoy a winning record and reap the awards down the road where he turns into an elite NHL defenseman.
  25. Knowing it probably won't be a factor for next season, stick with Wilson, develop him as our future #1 QB down the road?
