You're being very kind with this description. I feel bad for people who have lost their health, their sanity, their family cohesion and/or their livelihoods due to these sitting ducks. Anywhoo I continue to appreciate most people here on Morning Big Blue who always articulate very succinctly and consistently a high level of social responsibility even if it means sacrificing some individual freedoms to get us out of this. To completely change the subject, seeing that Dying Liver ad once again with that gross pic of a man with a flesh wound makes me want to carry out my pledge to limit my social media time to only sports and google earth. 🙂

We currently live in an era where people rightfully being getting called out for saying and doing really stupid dumb hurtful things think by this reaction they are 'owning the libs'. Thanks to social media and technology we are all guilty in varying degrees in promoting this by giving them platforms to giving credence to being really really dumb. My trusty goto sarcasm is no longer a match to thwarting this insanity. It's a virus that needs a different strategy to defend and shove back under the rock it came from.

I wish the news media, you know journalists, would stop sugar coating things and do their damn job of finding out what’s really going on in whatever they are investigating no matter what side of the political spectrum they’re reporting on. Latest example Rachel Thomas Tory MP ‘touts false information about Covid-19 vaccines, wants unvaccinated to be respected, appreciated in the community’. No, Rachel Thomas is using a confirmed lie to push an agenda that has nothing to do with let’s be kind to one another regardless of vaccination status. Dig deeper journalists, find the true motive and start calling it what it is. Sheesh.

I would add extremely dumb to that mixture but yes after all the concrete science and evidence accumulated on this virus that doesn't care about politics or opinions, lets continue to be kind and hand hold and allow these people to run amok with their influence and negative impact on our health services. There are people on their death beds due to this virus who still hold onto their dumbness and people like CH continue to add the gas to that fire.

Fan of his hockey talent and the jersey he wears but that's it when it comes to him. Whether people like it or not, what he says and does outside of hockey influence others. The pattern is showing he's a weak minded individual who lives in fantasy land. And people like will him just just scoff at others who use kindness to tell him he's wrong.

Just to make things really fun, a new coordinated strategy should be to go full court press using a variety of different angles by flooding social media and cable news with fake made up stories, conspiracy theories etc about how the 2016 election was rigged and that Trump and his gang actually lost by a landslide. What's that saying, fight fire with fire?

So that's what that means when I hear someone say 'In good conscience and my faith in God' when it comes to not taking the vaccination. Good to know.

I'm still holding onto some hope that even though the numbers are high the severity of the illness is decreasing. However my hope may fade fast as I'm completely in the dark right now about the severity of all this mutations coming out caused by the dumb dense population who were more concerned about their individual rights and freedoms than thinking collectively in how we can get this pandemic under control.

I would also add seeing a lot of other similar really dumb things happening here and in Murica is when they make references to how they are doing their 'protest' like MLK. Dumb. Really really dumb and dense.

Little too late? I don't seem to have that same air of confidence watching the Jets as I have watching the Bombers when the chips are down. Maybe an unfair comparison because its different sports but man Jets are stuck in neutral right now.

8 possible retirements?? Yowzers that's some prediction! They could start their own team, play 4 down and still beat the Riders.

If it's any consolation, the Oilers trending downwards helps me cope with our current Jets predicament. 🙂
