What’s maddening to me about some human beings in reading this is how easy it is to stop the spread: Regularly wash your hands when out in public, keep hand sanitizer with you wherever you go, cover your mouth with both hands cupped over your mouth and nose when coughing no matter what the reason it is you’re coughing, bury your mouth and nose between your forearm and bicep when sneezing, when you’re not feeling well, minimize as much as possible where you go in public, ensure places of business are following good hygienic practices in keeping their establishments clean and disinfected. I’m sure I’m missing some here but for the people who have the physical and mental ability to follow these practices but chose not to I am at a loss of words in explaining to you how important these are. Btw these easy practices to adopt were important pre pandemic as well, they just didn’t come up because of this stupid plague.

Which gets me thinking. He does warrant normal equal and fair treatment, he, his family and his hardened followers both public and administration continually mock that process. See Barr as an example. He warrants special treatment to protect the safety and sanity of this world regardless of political stripe. He is not just another bad president. He is a clear and present danger to this world that requires new and customized tactics. If anyone thinks otherwise I would suggest something is stopping you from really thinking this thru.

To date, continued bad press that require little effort on the journalists part because all of this is happening in plain sight, his constant insane bizarre in some cases illegal tweets, mountains of ongoing factual evidence to support his house impeachment and his dwindling poll numbers have had no actual impact in keeping this administration in check. None. A lot of us across the world are yelling at clouds with no effect. Frustrating, suffocating.Then comes along this crappy plague turning the world on its head. As I read somewhere, the world is like a ball with too much air building up in it. We need let some air out real soon.

The Democrats, no matter how stern they talk ( Jerry Nadler is a prime example here), no matter how well they articulate the issue and no matter how they pound their hands on tables, they are just so weak and ineffectual in keeping this administration in check. Exactly. The system of checks and balances in place are no match for the Trump Administration, hence a mirage. It’s like hey you can’t do that! We have rules. Oh yea well try and stop me. This administration just does what it wants because it has control of the Senate like you say and the current independent system of checks and balances offers no resistance. It’s just words on paper with nothing behind it and they are finding that out.

And sorry if this has already been addressed in this thread but why not present a true united front when meeting with the Federal Government for financial assistance? i.e., put current differences aside and have the Commissioner, the CFLPA President and a CFL owner rep present as one voice with a well laid out plan when seeking assistance from the federal government. If the Commissioner believes the CFL potentially could fold, then push all your individual differences aside, all hands on deck. What complexity am I missing because without a league everything else is moot.
