  1. I’m with you on everything other than when you write who he fights for. He fights for no one except himself. I‘m thinking if push came to shove he wouldn’t even fight for family members.
  2. I wonder what the range of thoughts people across the world are having on this latest development?
  3. Absolutely agree with you, all I'm saying is his 'Trump no matter what' base will follow along no matter what, even it doesn't fit the insane narrative they all bought into. They'll just trump along and adjust to whatever convoluted, mixed messaged, hypocritical, insane narrative they need to follow based on what he does. I've read over and over again on a variety of social media mediums that some people will vote for Trump no matter what. As I've written before, the 'no matter what' part of that sentence is bewildering to me. Is it the same thinking when one says to another (usually family members to one another): I'll love you no matter what'?
  4. No it won’t. Trump no matter what. I’m equating the term covidiots with committed Trump supporters. It just doesn’t matter what he does or says, even it upsets them, hurts them, impacts them directly eventually or in real time. It just doesn’t matter for some.
  5. For almost four years, I've seen headlines that Trump is in grave political trouble, practically every other day is labelled his worst day ever, his time is almost over, he's desperate but sure enough here he is, still is spreading his insanity with very little actual resistance. It's befuddling and extremely exhausting wrapped with many levels of frustration. It's
  6. He's wearing glasses to protect himself. Not wearing a mask so not protecting others. Consistent with his approach to life.
  7. Not to mention the fact he’s not smart enough to know what dumb is so it makes sense he didn’t say it.
  8. And what will be more frustrating is how some will interpret areas with lower numbers of deaths and infected than projected. It won't be interpreted as prevention strategies are working, i.e., good social hygiene, use of masks/face shields, appropriate physical distancing, adherence to no large social gatherings, stay home when you can, large # of accurate tests completed, tracking strategies in place to monitor hot spots etc). No, it will be interpreted as I told you so, deep state, hoax, where my guns be, lets roll.
  9. That's Prince Jared Kushner to you.
  10. God I miss contact sports.
  11. Even after a good post from SDN, you just can’t help yourself. I hope all is okay in your world.
  12. You and I have a very different take on how to decipher opinion versus fact and what discussion boards like this are all about. Regardless of who you are and what you believe it’s pretty arrogant to suggest everything you post is fact with no personal opinion attached whatsoever.
  13. No that’s not what I was talking about. It was the part where you were sharing your opinion on TOP.
  14. Based on the majority of what you just wrote here I thought you said you’re not here to share your personal opinions and what is inside your head?
  15. Not to mention how certain human beings will interpret this staged relaunch as oh back to whatever I want to do with others and back to my crappy social hygiene practices.
  16. Thank you for stating your position but you still couldn’t do it without throwing in something at the end about someone else. It’s a difficult thing to do to state what you are for and easy only to state what you are against. Hey we are all guilty of it at times but some do it more than others. It’s like watching politicians of all stripes talk about how bad each other are but never focus on specifically what they would or are doing and what they stand for. If we look at the states, imo Elizabeth Warren is really good on focusing on her positions. Whether I like them or not I highly respect that.
  17. I don’t want to read what you’re against, I’d like to read for once in your posts what you’re for. Where do you stand with Trump and what he does. Not what others do and what you are against.
  18. Yup, act like you have it not like to don’t want to get it and safe distancing becomes easier to do. Mindset change.
  19. Excerpt from the above piece: Another former West Wing official told me: "Trump is like an 11-year-old boy waiting for the fairy godmother to bring him a magic pill."
  20. I came across a piece from Ed Yong, a staff writer from the Atlantic who covers science and did a piece on this gross plague. The piece is called: Why the Coronavirus is so confusing: A guide to making sense of a problem that is now too big for any one person to fully comprehend. It's a fairly long read but it does read and feel, at least to me, quite objective in a matter of fact way not a all is great or all is bad type tone. Sorry my lack of IT ability couldn't insert the link. Anyone interested I'm sure can just do a google search or insert the link for me with with my thank you in-advance.
  21. I’m covered in Jesus’ blood!”-Unnamed churchgoer in Ohio Don't worry he's covered.
  22. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Vice President and Second Lady of the United States of America.
  23. I’ve been saying that a lot since this thing took hold. Most of us get we need to stay informed, be aware, understand the complexities and adjust our behaviour accordingly but opinion pieces that serve up constant debbies with their click bait doom and gloom headlines (often created by someone else other than the author) serve no useful purpose imo. Most of us get this is serious but writing and entitling a piece with anxiety laden text doesn’t help us. Sometimes it’s not what you are saying or writing, it’s how you are saying or writing it that’s important.
  24. I’m looking equally forward to having Prince Jared and Princess Ivanka thrown out of the castle and into the moat. Is that bad of me?
