Saw another clip of Johnson talking about the jets picking up Schenn and how that was good and the jets don’t have too many gaps but in another segment picks the Jets as the ultimate losers with this years trade deadline. The Jets so need to go deeper into the playoffs this year or they’re going to continue to hold the label as post season pretenders.

TSN panel goes around picking teams who were winners and losers of this years trade deadlines: Mike Johnson's turn - Toronto Winners Winnipeg Losers. ffs

As the competitive nature comes out in me then even more reason to win the cup and send a pic to BN. Hope he disappears in the playoffs like he did at the four nations. Embrace Tanev’s eagerness to play here. Obviously Winnipeg is not a draw for some players but so far we are doing pretty good without them.

Article heading by Rapheal Simard: Dylan Cozens trade: “the Sabres are the NHL’s farm team” Ouch.

It would be fascinating to watch the Bruins (very tight for that wildcard spot) make the playoffs this year after heavily unloading their existing talent especially with some going to their rivals.

When Dave Babych is mentioned, my Ray stone hands Neufeld PTSD kicks in.

Maybe you were thinking of Wayne, Dave Babych's brother who played forward. 🙂

I can hear Connor McDavid’s agent scribbling down some notes.

Where does Tanev slot in? who comes out?

Two-time Stanley Cup winner. He might know what it takes. 🙂

Again, who cares EOD. Go Jets. Guilty pleasure with these large market teams is they spend a gazillion dollars on a player, he makes off like a bandit with his guaranteed money to support his family and automatically flames out big time. Bubble wrap anyone?

Hearing mixed messages cuz Friedman reported done deal. Who knows, who cares. Go Jets.

Might add to the end of that sentence, 'with his special thoughts'. -
Just saw. Stars. Man we are in for a tough playoff ride.

I find this whole Mikko Rantanen situation weird. Obviously something changed after the Hurricanes acquired him. Maybe the Avs know something that no one else does.

It better be players with a ring.

Thought of a weird question walking the dog. While he is playing, he has been traded to another team and the deal has been finalized and approved, does he technically have to come out of the game as he is now property of another team? Or do they write that into the deal that the trade takes effect after the game has been completed? What if he gets hurt during the game? I know they usually pull a player if they think he may get traded that night but just thinking of this specific scenario.

I agree with your postulation. Your argos do indeed suck, will always suck and forever suck, amen praise be. I'm working on new material for the upcoming season, don't worry. -
I heard Dustin Byfuglien was keeping in great hockey shape and was coming back to the fold in time for the playoffs but then I woke up. He had his moments but boy do we ever miss him on our D. No one has filled that void since he left. Imagine having him in our lineup right now at his peak.
