  1. Yup, they should have an award for best depth. Calgary wins hands down.
  2. He wore a nice scarf handing out an award. He beats by his drum thats for sure.
  3. Since you raised his name, the BB Organization should hire this man to be our Ambassador to lure high end talent here. Good investment I say. We have a road named after him for (insert word) sakes.
  4. Yup that's how I interpreted it as well.

  6. We love Dervin and his roar. Great analogy. :-)
  7. Tonight, my son and I are going to the CFL awards event at Winspear here in Edmonton. I plan on giving our Bomber players a big welcome cheer from the Morning Big Blue community sans the non Blue and Gold posters :-)
  8. No, losing looks good on the Oilers.
  9. See other thread as well: All Lapo's fault.
  10. You're right and that's why some players can't relate to our impatience because, on average, they have a short lifespan with this organization. It's not a criticism at all against the players but them understanding it would go along way.
  11. Not the most empathetic line for lifelong Bomber fans. We've heard more than once 'This regime is on the right track'. Obviously we wish success for Miller and company but don't say we get stupid because of 28 years with no cup, that's absurd.
  12. When we complain about the RedBlacks calling them overrated, lucky and in a crappy division it makes us look even worse imho. We haven't won a championship in close to 30 years in a nine team league, and they have early in their existense and get another chance this weekend. This argument that you can't look at our championship record longitudinal because of different regimes does not compute with me. There's no getting around the bottom-line of futility in winning championships and how that tests loyal fans. Come 2019 season though we will be there supporting our team. Sucker's or true fans?
  13. Not to mention the fact his behaviour in how he left the field, taunting people like he was the man. During the appeal hearing I would run that tape for people to see.
  14. I'm sorry, easy answer? Their lack of success with the best player on the planet is a shared responsibility, players, coaches and management. Look at PC's body of work during his tenure here in Oiler land, it needs to be scrutinized just like everyone else involved. No, no, assessing management and their accountability has to be part of this discussion. If Hitchcock and group don't turn this around, I can guess who is next to go and it would be the right one. He's used his last Mulligan.
  15. And/or management isn't assembling the appropriate skill sets needed to support the best player on the planet.
  16. Based on his style to date, not in MOS DNA to do this. He'll anoint MN the starter and say its his to lose.
  17. This I will definitely agree with. I was thinking that a lot watching the game. Wasn't done nearly enough. Get the ball out of his hands Calvillo style.
  18. This is not all on Nichols but often he left early looking a bit panicked and not keeping his poise in the pocket, no easy thing but that's why he is a professional QB. He is not a roll out passer. If in fact the argument to defend Nichols was he wasn't getting the necessary protection (which I disagree with), then we needed to put in Streveler who is a more mobile QB. Then that's on our HC.
  19. His pocket presence hurt us. That influenced whether his receivers were open or not. At the end of the day their five best players did more than our five best players. As a continueing lifelong Bomber fan I'm getting less and less intense about our drought in not winning a championship which is not a good thing, its turning into apathy. I think that some Bomber players may not fully appreciate that as they have had a fairly short period of time being part of this organization.
  20. Nichols getting flushed out of the pocket way too easy. First hint of pressure he bails.
