  1. Someone needs to blow up Edem please and thank you. Tried to decapitate Harris.
  2. Not to mention move the ball closer to the chains.
  3. Joe Pop doing the color too! Hands down we had the best radio announcers across that nation with Irving doing the Bombers and Kielback doing the Jets. We were spoiled. Hope Irving can broadcast a couple of GC wins before he retires.
  4. I'd recommend a permanent one . . .
  5. He writes like a disgruntled employee.
  6. ? I have not observed this whether we won or lost the game.
  7. What does this do for our salary cap, anything?
  8. I just yell at my TV screen or, when they are here (Edmonton), sit with my hands on my head if they are not doing well. I would think though that some at IGF (not all) are booing at situations (not necessarily a specific player) that when these situations happen bring to surface that built up frustration of not winning the GC since 1990. That 'good gracious here we go again' feeling that may indeed be misguided but there nonetheless in the moment. We tend to calm down after the game. To me that feeling has to be respected by the Organization. There are a lot of us who wear the BB colors where ever we go regardless of our record, our drought, how our last game went but we do get frustrated with our team now and then and want that ever elusive GC to be sitting in our house. We've been waiting a while.
  9. With how difficult it is in this league to maintain stability at the QB position, the eight other teams would all entertain the possibility.
  10. I think more for me was the frustration on how easy it was for Ottawa to consistently convert two on us whether it was blown assignments, being beat like a rented mule and/or stupid a$$ penalties.
  11. Man TS looks good in that Jersey, PL's no slouch either. 🙂
  12. The defense again did not play well but it doesn't help when they were required to be on the field all night. In this case last night, Team Game, Team Loss.
  13. Something no one can get around here. Yes he wasn't good and he needs to play better if he wants to retain starter status but the 11 other guys on the field didn't have the best games of there life either. On occasion a game can be won or lost by a few but that hot mess last night wasn't one of them.
  14. No it's not. Not one person is responsible for that first half mess. Lots of blame to go around suggests that. At times it can be a few individuals but not this game.
  15. Team game, team responsibility. This game so far has shown that. No one here is to blame, defense, offense or special teams. Win the second half.
  16. I hear what you're saying but the score of the game and who the player is has absolutely no relevancy in compromising how a potential concussion is assessed during a game.
  17. Shocking, a player saying he's fine. See Collaros for most recent example of hiding things and ask Matt Dunnigan. Not to mention the fact that concussions can take time to show effect. Neuroscience kind of thing. There is no argument here. The NHL has it right. He needed to go to a quiet room for further assessment. The hit didn't look bad, it was bad. Err on the side of immediate safety and longer term effect Matthew.
  18. In this day in age, I would be surprised by that. Even so, each team has medical professionals on staff and (should) know the specific steps to follow with a suspected in-game concussion. Sherman is saying there is no way he would have put JM back in if he knew something was wrong. I remember seeing the trainers (and others) working with JM on the sidelines after the hit but why they didn't take him to the quiet room is beyond explanation. Doesn't matter if he was saying the right things on the sidelines or not. Everyone has instant access nowadays to review plays and that specific hit he got blown up and needed to be further assessed.
  19. Don't the Alouettes follow in-game protocol on head injuries. After that hit JM took at the goal line, quiet room was needed. Where were the spotters in this game? What a hot mess.
  20. If this is in fact true, I'm more baffled because doing up his chin strap is for his safety, nothing more, nothing less. Remind me not to have in my car and ask him to do up his seatbelt.
  21. As I don't follow the Winnipeg media closely, has he been clear with shedding his NFL aspirations?
  22. Our last game, he seemed out of position on occasion. I think his football instincts are failing him right now.
  23. Bigger picture, his behaviour/attitude needs work for sure but he's good for the league imo, gets people talking about the CFL, grows interest. Hope he signs on with another CFL team just not ours although MOS would be someone that could help him but too much risk to take on.
