  1. Happens all the time. Maybe you just haven't been part of it.
  2. Yup far far less. Lets compare all our posts since I joined in 2013 to really offer up some evidence.
  3. Memo to you and Spuds. This isn't a clever statement. It's not a 'spirited debate' response. It shuts down respectful conversation.
  4. I don't know the stats but we lead the league in most yards allowed from the line of scrimmage which tells me it's probably more than big explosion plays. In terms of whether it's a player or coach issue, I think both share in that accountability.
  5. Funny isn't the first word that comes to my mind.
  6. The hope I have is LeFevour is practicing this week as a starter versus Calgary and not third stringer preparation he had coming into the BC. game It's something.
  7. What's the point of saying stuff like this? Does it make you feel better?
  8. My observations have been they've actually become more aggressive with their high guy and widened their box compared to the first few games of the season. They seem to be making adjustments which is a good thing.
  9. The Pittsburgh game told us there might be hope.
  10. I think his only point here is sometimes coaches do get it wrong and not arguing that 'couch potatoes' get it right.
  11. Play his game as in primarily give the ball to Harris, Flanders, Dressler with a sprinkle of QB sneeks. Manage the game, let others win it.
  12. Yes I do realize his role and yes he is by far not the main issue for our struggles but doesn't mean he escapes scrutiny.
  13. Fair enough. He still hasn't impressed me though as a depth receiver.

  15. Coates is our Hurl on offense.
  16. He had to though, Davis wasn't getting it done.
  17. I don't link the lions are going to come out and lie down. They are going to be a relaxed group with nothing to lose. They are not Montreal. Medlock redemption day.
  18. Imo, at times most passive aggressive word mis-used to label well-intentioned people who are reacting to someone's consistently bad behaviour.
  19. For intent to injure type offences (because we are trying to protect all players, not just QB's right?): (I'm guessing the CFL already has a policy on this but this is what I'd suggest) First offence, ejection, 1 game suspension and fine. Second offence, ejection, 6 game suspension, fine, lose draft pick. Third offence, ejection, 18 game suspension, huge fine, lose draft picks. All penalties incurred carry over into next season if need be. After the second offence, more than likely he doesn't play again in the league to make it to the third offence. And I know there is some grey in determining intent to injure but that's where you get a group together to make that call. In this particular case with Rico on Dressler, little doubt for me.
  20. Nothing to do with his defensive sets/play-calling I guess. Only problem was player effort and execution.
  21. In retrospect, we should have punted. :-)
  22. for Special Teams strictly.
  23. That statement makes no sense to me. If something mentally is going on that is affecting his kicking but can be corrected or tempered with work, then it does matter.
  24. Ouch. Sam Hurl I'm sure is a great guy, but as I've said before, he could have a really nice career as a special teams player. He is jeopardizing that right now.
