    I'm intrigued by his statement that he has to trust his players and coaches in what to do. Why did he veer off that in the first place?

    Kudos to Hall for scheming the front wall to contain Johnny M for most of the night. If 80% of the time Johnny M has to drop back and read he realizes playing in the CFL is a lot harder than he thought it would be.

    Yea doing those types of things gets you noticed by the coaching staff. Willing to do the grimy stuff makes you a complete baller and Thompkins showed he may have that DNA.

    Manziels flutter balls finding receivers at times reminds me of pick up football we use to play in the school yard. Ugly Ugly Ugly. Dressler looked like he was playing hurt and in protection mode.

    I feel Lowry may have a breakout season this year. Imo he has shown tremendous development. I was not a big fan at thestart but have warmed to him considerably in terms of what he brings to this team.

    One of my wishes for this season is by game 20 we see a headline on TSN "What's wrong with the Leafs?" This constant Tavares Marner Matthews talk is nauseating.

    Hope so because I took him in my amateur draft, him and Niku. Am I the only one who plays hockey pools and takes too many Jets because of my love for them.

    You're right Nichols missing open targets is not Lapo's fault but with Dressler out and Harris spent that limits Lapos chosen scheme and it may be that he is not adjusting his scheme well enough for Dresslers replacement and tailback options other than Harris.

    But I've also read here overtime how aghast some are here if MOS would consider calling out a player/coach to be better outside of the dressing room. So do people want him to be more hard assed for all to see or just internally that most of us don't know how that goes?

    Based on some of the speculation by a few posters here about Lapos primary focus on Nichols, will he have a customized package for Streveler in place ready to go for our next game?

    Hope so because it would be a double win for me, i.e., Helps my team and provides me with more ammunition to trash talk my Oiler friends and colleagues.

    I've seen him play here with the Oilers. Meh is my 'not a professional' observation. But NHL proven Goalies do take more time to develop so there's that advantage for us, i.e., hopefully Oilers pay dearly for giving up on him.

    As well, there's always the option of learning the language if your best candidates don't know the language. I think its been done before.
