  1. The way to solve this challenge is have our forwards take care of business early. Put the wild out of their misery early in the game taking the pressure off our D.
  2. During the game right after something thats happened to the Wild that they dislike: Boooooooooooooooddddddddddddrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaauuuuuuu Boooooooooooooooddddddddddddrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaauuuuuuu Boooooooooooooooddddddddddddrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaauuuuuuu
  3. Maybe and yes having him at the point has it's advantages on the PP. BUT having a big body (with toughness) like DB in front of Dubynk has it's advantages as well. The less Dubnyk can see the better. This is where I've been very impressed with Statsny, he does this very well and unfortunately got nailed by a point shot in this game.
  4. I actually thought it was cool. He did it respectfully imo.
  5. Wow. I imagine that he sits at the kids table when all the adult play by play guys get together for a social function.
  6. Trouba was one big hot mess last night. Something seems off with him. Helle save on Dumba was spectacular. The more I see Stastny play the more I like him. I wish Blake Wheeler would shoot more. I loved the adjustment in putting Buff up front on the power play. Hope they continue that.
  7. Didn't he also say Buccaneer at one point?
  8. Give the @mnwild credit. At least they don't play games with injuries. Kelly Moore I personally don't think it's playing games when teams don't divulge the specifics about injuries. I don't know how knowing the specifics of the injury is relevant (yes interesting, curious but not relevant) to anyone but the hockey team and the players families. All I need to know is lower body, upper body out for 6-8 weeks. But that's just my perspective.
  9. Jets need to pound the Wild into submission tonight like they know they can. I'm getting a real hate on for Minnesota. Lets get BB's face as red as possible tonight.
  10. Booooooooooo drrrrreauuuuuuuu Booooooooooo drrrrreauuuuuuuu Booooooooooo drrrrreauuuuuuuu If of course there is a game 5.
  11. And this was the nicest thing he said about Trump.
  12. 1. "This President is unethical, and untethered to truth and institutional values. His leadership is transactional, ego driven and about personal loyalty." James Comey Wow.
  13. Based on the camera shots of Bruce Boudreau last game, I know who I would pick for this game. :-)
  14. Could someone put a good word in for me? Go Broncos, Go Blue!
  15. Buff played better than Myers and Trouba imo. I was thinking while watching the game that Myers is our new Buff i.e, giveaways takeaways regardless i still love all three and would take our core of d over anyone's.
  16. Nerve wracking. Wild played a good road game. Obviously goaltending was a huge factor on both sides. Buff was being what he needs to be, what hits. I find Myers and Trouba a big too nonchalant sometimes with the puck that ends up in takeaways/giveaways. Morrow got a lot more ice time than I thought he would. I see Maurice for a stretch used Copp and the second line and Ehlers on the third. I wonder why. That Dumba is a player. I've never been a big Adam Lowry fan but boy did he show his value last night, with his physical presence and faceoff prowess. Wow. This is going to be a tough series but we are clearly the better team.
  17. Here's how Chris Cillizza from CNN put it: Remember that Rosenstein is, according to the federal code, the only person who can fire Mueller. While Trump appears to have concluded this isn't accurate and that he, too, has the ability to fire Mueller himself, doing so would undoubtedly set up a massive legal fight (in addition to a political one). What if Trump fires Rosenstein and replaces his as deputy attorney general with someone who is more amenable to the idea of getting rid of Mueller? That would kill two birds with one stone -- get rid of the pesky Rosenstein and put someone in his stead who would get rid of Mueller! Add it all up and it becomes pretty clear that Rosenstein has to be the favorite to get fired this week. And a pretty heavy favorite at that.
  18. Who scores the first Jet goal? I'll take Connor for one.
  19. Or, as I think Booch alluded, he has figured out a certain number he'll need that would justify him playing this game, and if that number is not offered, he'll act upon a different line of employment. But none of us here really know what's going on in his head.
  20. Isn't the new strategy to fire Rosenstein, replace him with a Trump supporter, who then (tries to) puts the shackles on Mueller . . .
  21. Absolutely, these families should not have to worry about anything financial, only on healing, coping and getting through the day.
  22. Not that I agree but I think some are arguing a sort of an illegal search and seizure type scenario where they shouldn't have looked in the first place.
  23. Said the team that lost the first round.
  24. So who is the Wild going to pick to try to get under the skin of Laine? I pick Tanev and Buff as our agitators.
  25. Who has a better chance at knocking out Nashville in the first round? Blues or Avs? My hunch says Blues if Allen could show up (which he didn't against the Hawks their last game) but the AVS speed could give the Preds some headaches but the Preds did sweep them this year regular season. Anyway be interesting to see who squeaks in and who can at least rough the Preds up when they play us the second round, of course knowing we gotta get by the Wild first.
