  1. Losing Myers was significant to make this even worse. Changed the whole look of our defensive schemes. I think he's more important to this team then some realize imo.
  2. I'm sensing that this is a hard number to track accurately (whether high or low) when I read the word undocumented.
  3. Along with the 115,384 who clicked heart
  4. The other component to this is I can well imagine the chaos and the toxicity this is causing amongst the people who are responsible for border crossing processes/guidelines/enforcements etc and the mixtures of attitudes/behaviours in how the will carry out their duties. Wow.
  5. At an Edmonton Eskimo Gala I attended (for the greater good I keep telling myself), Mr. Orridge was a guest. When he was up to talk, he was well articulate, promoted the league well and was a great ambassador for the Eskimos ensuring no favoritism. My experience was good. I may not agree with how he his handling the concussion issue but overall I've seen worse. He seems like a likable guy trying to do his best.
  6. I think you're closer to the truth then joking on what motivates Jones. When he told Dickenson to win with some class what he really was saying was I want to be the winner not you so screw you classless person. I'll never forget Dickenson's face, 'what just happened here?' Jones is the same guy who publicly thinks handshakes at the end of games is pointless, waste of time, it's just a formality, going through the motions. #jerkface He could lead a team to 18-0 record with a grey cup in hand and I still wouldn't want the guy. He's good fit with Sask. He'd look good in TO as well.
  7. Repeat after me: "Have faith in the process", "Chris Jones is a genius", "Have faith in the process", "Chris Jones is going to kill us", "Have faith in the process" . . .
  8. If Glenn ends up their starter, remind me again why they let Durant go?
  9. I was actually thinking the opposite, as in the Jets goal production has been better of late, the thing that can lose focus is their commitment to defensive responsibilities making a 5-1 game now a 5-3 5-4 game putting more pressure on the goaltender.
  10. Just a random thought not taking any sides in rating our goaltenders but when the Jets happen to open up there offensive thrust can it also mean their defensive awareness goes down putting more pressure on the goaltender?
  11. To me, the point is one can't zone in on one specific group. There are nuts in every group capable of doing very bad things to fellow human beings. I like the saying that when one points a finger at someone else, three are pointing right back at them.
  12. Dallas is healthy now. Former Winnipeg Jet Dallas GM says no excuses moving forward. Let's make them make one after this game.
  13. Ironically maybe having Pavs in nets subconsciously motivates the Skaters in knowing they have to provide increased goal support.
  14. But what's the point in saying it? It sounds a bit like what I've posted before when people use the 'but that person is/would be just as worse' argument. It serves no purpose. We are dealing with the here and now. It works all ways. If HRC was elected, I wouldn't accept the 'yea but at least she's not Donald Trump' argument either.
  15. But boy do I miss his unintelligible banter, classic stuff. It was like bad lip reading but it was actually real.
  16. What does that even mean? Myers is a quality D-man with a unique skill set when healthy.
  17. You strongly disagree with what?
  18. The number 1 is placed in front of two people. The question is posed: What number is that? Person A says Number one. Person B says Number two. Person A is befuddled and says no it's a number one. Person B says, here we go again, people going to their default position with negativity. It's so demoralizing. Personally I'm getting more and more worried about this. We need to shut down this approach before it becomes a norm.
  19. Yes I'm well aware you can't force someone to stay. If that's how it played out, sure makes sense ($ and pecking order) but the obvious risk we're taking is overrating Dom Davis if something goes awry with Nichols. I have a feeling if Nichols went down for some reason last season, we would have seen Glenn regardless of 3rd string status. Anyways, now that he is with Sask I hope him nothing but good fortune with a 0 and 18 record.
  20. Which is why I'm perplexed that we let Glenn go.
  21. I'm sensing sarcasm but that's all right. Go Jets Bombers Go.
  22. Why be so antagonistic and accusatory? I don't see what that serves. Up to this point the discussion was civil.
  23. Said every Quarterback that played football :-)
  24. I'm with you on that explanation, my post had nothing to do with you and what you posted here, sorry if you assumed that. I was just talking in general, like if someone responds to that post by saying 'look at that other person, they are worse'. Doesn't make the original post content any less impactful.
  25. I don't think the talent is the primary issue here, it's more when the going gets tough and based on Jones and Carter's demonstrated behaviour over time, how will that play out between them and with other Sask players? From a HardCore Blue Bomber fan's point of view, I hope it plays out where I'll feel the need to get me some popcorn.
