  1. To each their own. Matt Dunigan as a color guy for football and Jim Hughson for hockey are my favorites. Both get me emotionally into the game.
  2. It's not a theory, it's preparing for, executing, evaluating and believing in their short, mid and long term plans. Obviously ownership is comfortable with those plans but not without I'm sure some disagreements. This is where not being privy to those in-depth war room discussions and details only allows us to speculate (which is obviously fun to do as a fan). There is something to be said for job security influencing where one's focus needs to be. Fearing someone into being productive usually doesn't work. Regardless of the extension, Maurice and Chevy will not sit back now and coast, the pressure has and will always be on till the day they are shown the door.
  3. For years I've actually found Cuthbert worse than Suitor and others for both the Bombers and the Jets. Although on his twitter feed he professes to be neutral not cheering for or against any team, he has this subtle undertone of 'ah it's Winnipeg, whatever' feel to his voice.
  4. Respectfully disagree, all facets of our game inflicted wounds throughout the game, some deeper than others but still hurt. This loss can not pinned only on our offense. All three phases of our game takes this loss. That said, we'll clean things up and even this series. I enjoy Carter's not so happy look over his happy look.
  5. Great insight in how not trusting a teammate (s) to do their job can result in very bad decisions.
  6. Stafford played pretty well today.
  7. I'm a Defense guy but If I'm on the offense, if I'm on special teams, when I hear the statement the difference in the game was Nichols int and Demski's return I'm like what? How about making the necessary in-game D adjustments and locking down 1st Q not 3rd Q? We all know Football is a team game and every phase sucked, the difference was multiple plays in all three phases not one play on O and one play on special teams. Plays that made the difference don't always have to be big plays. We lost the key battles all game. I hear the O given a hard time about Garbage time, how about the D, when the game is over by all accounts, they are getting garbage time to, i.e., offense more conservative, protecting a lead no turnovers. We'll stomp them next week. We can't win every game.
  8. Ironically we should have consistently played the same defensive set as the Roughies did. Drop nine. Rush three.
  9. Theres no doubt about that. The offensive line were our stars for the game.
  10. As much as I'm a defensive guy, that's bit oversimplified. I think a more realistic statement would be certain types of receivers are easily replaceable.
  11. Break down position, buzz feet, rip and wrap?
  12. I lost my mom back in 2008. Feeling never goes away.
  13. This score would look nice on Sunday.
  14. Ticats drop QB Colin Kaepernick from neg list https://goo.gl/fb/aVDN2R via @JDunk12 #CFL
  15. Thanks for the post Tehedra. I've always thought one way to minimize being a keyboard ninja is to use your real name, first and last. Now and then I have a fleeting moment on suggesting we do it here. If we all worked on the honour system and revealed our real names, I'm thinking some of us might be a bit more careful with our words and opinions. The risk obviously is not playing by the honour system or compromising one's privacy when it's legitimately needed or having a nut bar on the worldwide web using names to do stupid things. Oh well, one can dream in humanity.
  16. Not me, it's fun to play the decision maker. No risk involved.
  17. Special teams wins championships or something like that . . .
  18. I may not be interpreting you correctly but to me inserting Dressler back into the lineup is not a tough decision. Yes, who comes out is, but there is no way you don't dress Dressler. Arguably the best player on our team when healthy.
  19. Not true. Don't they have professional hockey as well? No wait, they have the the Blades and the Pats., nice. (I do like Junior hockey but not that much).
  20. I was thinking a similar thing. Hamilton has gone all in already, so why not double down and try out Colin Kaepernick to maybe get a different reaction?
  21. Furthermore, what does this say about June Jones? I assume he had a say in wanting to bring in Briles? You'd think he'd want to surround himself with experienced credible CFL coaches.
  22. Christmas dinners with the in-laws must be fun.
  23. What makes him great Mosiac? His football acumen or him as a human being? imho, how you achieve something is as important to what you achieve.
