  1. I think it would be fitting if Medlock seals the deal for us this Sunday to answer the question some posters here have been asking 'what have you done for us lately?' There is no other kicker I would want heading into playoffs, especially with the significant injuries our offence is dealing with. Even if Nichols is a go, how long will he last with that calf problem, hand issue, especially in cold weather? JM kicking eight field goals this game, defence holding strong with one one pick six and a punt return for a touchdown will do just fine. I personally have a lot on the line here in making some wagers around the office here in eskiblow land. I do not want to have to wear eskiblow apparel around the office on Monday to cover a bet. Let's get it done Blue, we are due.
  2. Yup cause all the eskiblows will do his key in on Dressler, Harris and Flanders and force our tier two guys to make plays. Let's see what Givens has for the playoffs. Let's hope he's the type of guy that raises it a notch come do or die games. Our defense/special teams may have to do the bulk of scoring for us.
  3. Yea I'm with you. I'm hoping for a Harris win as well, He's earned it, love they way he competes. He's up against one of the best players in the league right now, that's all.
  4. Even with their losing, they are benefited from jumping over to the East. Argoblows and Renegades don't scream powerhouse to me. A GC final against Sask would be special.
  5. Depends on the play. That is, evaluate each play to make that determination you are raising.
  6. Don't blame this on Buff. Unbelievable no call on interference. No consistency on calls. Too many men? Call it both ways. Ridiculous.
  7. Absolutely but Calgary really laid down for this one, no fight. I know nothing was on the line for them, freezing cold, sat their most of their starter to avoid the risk of injury but jeez show some fight for your three fans that showed up. Dickenson even pointed it out at half time. They are not in a good head space that bodes well for us. Hope we can take advantage of that when we see them in the final.
  8. I love Harris, I'm Blue through and through, but Singleton deserves both awards. He's consistently been lights out all year, almost every down he plays. The guy is a beast.
  9. If hoping we all try to be respectful when conversing with others is a crusade so be it. If you feel for you to try do that would be pretending and that's not you, than yes I am fundamentally different than you. In my line of work personality preferences is no excuse for bad behaviour. It's my bias.
  10. Happens all the time. Maybe you just haven't been part of it.
  11. Yup far far less. Lets compare all our posts since I joined in 2013 to really offer up some evidence.
  12. Memo to you and Spuds. This isn't a clever statement. It's not a 'spirited debate' response. It shuts down respectful conversation.
  13. I don't know the stats but we lead the league in most yards allowed from the line of scrimmage which tells me it's probably more than big explosion plays. In terms of whether it's a player or coach issue, I think both share in that accountability.
  14. Funny isn't the first word that comes to my mind.
  15. The hope I have is LeFevour is practicing this week as a starter versus Calgary and not third stringer preparation he had coming into the BC. game It's something.
  16. What's the point of saying stuff like this? Does it make you feel better?
  17. My observations have been they've actually become more aggressive with their high guy and widened their box compared to the first few games of the season. They seem to be making adjustments which is a good thing.
  18. The Pittsburgh game told us there might be hope.
  19. I think his only point here is sometimes coaches do get it wrong and not arguing that 'couch potatoes' get it right.
  20. Play his game as in primarily give the ball to Harris, Flanders, Dressler with a sprinkle of QB sneeks. Manage the game, let others win it.
  21. Yes I do realize his role and yes he is by far not the main issue for our struggles but doesn't mean he escapes scrutiny.
  22. Fair enough. He still hasn't impressed me though as a depth receiver.
