Wasn't Johhny M the worst of all most played QB's last year statistically? When I looked up the 2018 QB stats it seemed to suggest that unless I looked at it wrong.

If Carter only focuses on how to be a consistent elite receiver in the CFL and he develops some chemistry with Mike Reilly . . .

Probably, but I think Johhny may feel a lot of pain this year now that opposing Defenses have a year under their belt in what to expect.

In all this frantic frenzy I reminded myself that Montreal starting QB remains Johnny football. I'm not sure about the argument that Sasky is the worst off when it comes to this position.

Until he signs his retirement papers, forced out due to health or no one wants him, not me.

People keeping writing off Lulay. He has shown he can still perform at a high level. Obviously his health is an issue but as far as anyone knows he is not way done as you put it. Even with Glenn, having a full year of rest with the Eskies would suggest he is not way done either.

I was thinking a similar thing in maybe he is seeking some counsel in how best to do it from Henoc and do the opposite.

Nice to see Demski back in the fold for two more.

It could be argued that we are no where near having the best QB in the CFL but we do hold the best QB tandem in the league.

Man not a big fan of Jones. Definite downgrade if that's the route we go even with Loffler's shortcomings.

Eskies sure are banking on (i.e., paying for) the Harris/Ellingson chemistry.

Right but using the Oilers as an example, no matter who you have coaching the team, something is amiss with the team DNA. When saying losing the room, that implies a coaching issue and sometimes (not all) that can be misleading. It's probably a case you can't fire the team so get rid of the coach.

Or maybe they have the Oilers issue with talent and effort. As Hitchcock put it, the coaches can't want it more than the players. I'd love to see Carlyle here as an addition to our coaching staff.

I'd be more focused on quality chances we give versus what we generate. That's the telling stat. Pure shots allowed can sometimes be misleading, i.e. perimeter shots, good sight lines for the goaltender etc.
