One of one million things on a hourly basis we see about the Leafs on TSN: Where does Matthews rank among the best in the league? I officially want to see the Leafs fall flat on their faces with things like: What's wrong with Matthews? Has the Taveras ship sailed? Barf.

One could argue he is being underutilized with his offensive talent. I'm not advocating to bring Carter here but our organization does have to look at all options to make us a better football team.

If I'm playing the Riders, I'm telling my QB, don't throw hitch passes, screens, anything anywhere near Jefferson. If anything set him up for it (i.e., fake pass) so he loses contain.

True, may have. Pick your poison I guess. But the scheme we were using was working. Then we went away from it and their offense opened up. Not a coincidence. Live and die by the sword. We would have lived.

I guess what drives me nuts is not staying with a D scheme that is working regardless of score. We came at them hard and often and it was working. Suddenly we felt we needed to play more conservative because of the score which was exactly what the RB offense needed to open up.
