  1. He impressed me with being more than one dimensional (KR), i.e., showed he can also line up in the back field and be effective.
  2. But its the leeeaaaaffffffs (said crying like a toddler).
  3. From the Calgary Herald: Flames centre Nazem Kadri was seething as he left the penalty box, giving Cody Beach an earful for a slashing call that he didn’t believe was justified, especially in the late stages of a tied tilt. This drives me insane, the part I bolded. Yes of course let the players dictate the outcome of the game, refs should not make themselves the centre of attention but that needs to be balanced with obvious infractions need to be consistently called regardless of what stage the game is at and what the score is. Be upset if the reffing was inconsistent but don't be upset after chopping wood on one of the Jet defenseman because the game was close and they just came off killing a five on three. If anything be more disciplined next time. Rules still apply for the full 60 minutes. It's like a passing/fast lane, yes people need to move over to ensure faster traffic can move unimpeded but don't get upset if you're pulled over because of your impatience and speeding excessively in the fast lane.
  4. I'm now thinking we should have a throw-up emoticon. My condolences to your wife. 🙂
  5. For some strange reason I’m now a huge fan of random gale force winds. Weird.
  6. The other side of it, it’s an extremely long field goal where the coverage team has a big chore huffing it down the field to cover, ball is fluttering in the air well short where the speedy returner can catch it on the fly with lots of field vision in front of him. We’ve seen it on occasion where an errant (ie usually short) long field goal try ends well for the returning team. I don’t think it’s as straight forward as you present it.
  7. To me he came across as someone who let others know how prestigious this role is rather than someone who genuinely wanted to serve the league and others who actually do the work.
  8. Over the years, we've been screwed just as much as any other team in the CFL so other fans thinking we have all the luck can stop talking now.
  9. Control both sides of the line of scrimmage, we win they lose. You can lock the thread now.
  10. Dear Winnipeg Blue Bomber Gods with your almighty wind power, I ask with humbleness and service to please continue to use your almighty powers to strike down the Leafs tomorrow. With gratitude and forever appreciation for ever and ever, Amen ps having Austin Matthews score an own goal would also be a nice touch if you don’t mind. Thank you.
  11. BC sucks. You don’t have to add ‘in the cold’.
  12. Yup, welcome to the CFL. In the NFL, the game would have been over long before shaking hands, taking off their headsets.
  13. And might I add Huberdeau is well worth his 10 mill a year said no one ever. He must hug his agent and kiss his feet on a daily basis.
  14. Coleman gives Connor a tug from behind to slow him up, Connor still scores a shorty, Coleman goes berserk on the refs. Khadri chops wood on a Jet right in front of the ref, ref calls a slashing penalty, Khadri goes berserk on the ref. Completely understand why they are upset said no one ever.
  15. Random winds, strange lucky goals, Rider loss, Austin Matthew blunder = nice.
  16. Vallardi is snake bitten. If we can get him going, man.
  17. It’s always the alcohol.
  18. Someone with great political and business acumen maybe?
  19. The miracle wind gets all three stars. HH goes to jamming those horns down Montreals Les fans throats.
  20. Ironically our kickers style would have bode well for that type of scenario. lol.
  21. Awwwwwww there there.
  22. Now a Jet win and Sask loss will complete the trifecta oh gracious Winnipeg gods. Amen.
  23. And if the Riders lose in the semis, sending pics of wind their way will be satisfying.
