What I'm confused about is there are some posters here that defend him and say he did as good as expected and will get better. I agree on the get better part and he's more than likely going to shine in this league if he stays long enough but, just for argument sake, lets say this 'he did as good as expected' sentiment is shared by his coaches and if this is what they expected prior to starting him its not really putting their team in the best position to be successful is it? Or is it they have absolutely no confidence in their other QB's who have more practice/game experience under their belt?

As a transplanted Manitoban living in Alberta, Chuba Hubbard a Sherwood Park current Carolina Panther would be a good example . . .

I'd like to give some love to Matt Dunnigan as well. When he's on, he helps me get into the game. He has opened up about how concussions has impacted him and his family but it seems he truly just loves the game of football and it shows most times when he's on air, alcohol jokes aside.

Oh yea forgot about that. It looks like the NFL was the detour for him.

Oh for sure from a serious point of view (assisted living etc) but every time my not so serious mind hears velco shoes it also goes to crocs and flip flops and how some might want to rethink how and what they are wearing them with. 🙂

Obviously I get the lure of the NFL ($, prestige etc.) but one can carve out a pretty nice career here with our great game.

mmmmmmm in my experience you might get some debate on that depending on who and how they are being worn.
