  1. Seems to be a trend where platooning certain players versus starting them would be a good adjustment with the existing roster we are working with. I know Captain Obvious.
  2. Vintage Collaros versus old man Collaros? Which shows up? Go Bombers Go.
  3. Itโ€™s not a prick decision though, itโ€™s his and his coaching staffโ€™s responsibility. A prick decision is choosing to make the player feel worthless in carrying out this decision. The prickness in people usually comes out in not what they are saying but in how they are saying it.
  4. For sure but the one defining thing you can't around is? Riders suck. I know I know I'm adding so much to this conversation. Carry on.
  5. O at most positions tend to have the advantage over the D in what they can get away with imho. Ouch.
  6. This is what I was thinking, constant barrage then play action begins.
  7. Apropos as #32 will be in attendance tonight.
  8. Or BO takes a handoff and takes it to the house recording his longest TD from from the line of scrimmage? ๐Ÿ™‚
  9. You know your season isnโ€™t going as planned when 5 games in, must win is being trotted out.
  10. Good time for our O to break out and lay out 30, 40+. That may help. ๐Ÿ™‚
  11. Not a bad theory actually. ๐Ÿ™‚
  12. Another great example that I sometimes need to be reminded what my place is when it comes to specific types of football discussions. ๐Ÿ™‚
  13. Douchewhistle lol. I don't even know what that means but you're killing it. I see your holster is working fine. ๐Ÿ™‚
  14. Yup thanks for the correction, I forgot to include may be in front of creating. And I would suggest the what I have bolded in your response might be an assumption on your part depending on who you asked in the organization. But hey at the EOD the predicament our BB's find themselves in right now is not just a defensive tackle issue but knowing most things start in the trenches its an important part of the larger discussion.
  15. I see our scouting department has entered into the discussion now. ๐Ÿ™‚
  16. I understand what you're saying but teams who win championships set the tone that average, not playing terrible ball is not good enough so its not just JT obviously in where we are at this year. But because we are specifically talking about him its really obvious that trotting him out as a starter game in and game out is helping set a certain tone and even worse creating some tension with other players who are stepping up and/or with players who are sitting on the sidelines wanting their chance. And yes @Bigblue204 championships are not won or lost in July you are correct sir but they sure are an important stepping stone in getting there. ๐Ÿ™‚
  17. I'd add the hands on hips breathing deep in and out.
  18. I think its a win/win in taking a swing on RM. If he pans out, sometimes you have to go on a hunch/chance depending on the context. If he doesn't pan out it provides a concrete example for future prospects of why the Jets usually err on the side of development not entitlement.
  19. And confusing as hell. No matter how they twist themselves into a pretzel justifying this, they move even closer to Argo level suck.
  20. My guess is their camp packages it as he's a confident kid who believes in his talent (i.e., needn't compete for a spot), a fierce competitor, wants to win and will go thru a wall for his teammates. I say in this particular case call him on it, take a swing with him and if he doesn't produce send him down to the AHL where he can adopt PLD's approach to the world that it isn't him that is the problem it's someone/ something else's doing as to to why he didn't produce. There is great risk in giving him a roster spot right out of the gate (e.g., how other players in the system will legitimately feel/speak out) but in this case I think this approach with this particular player is needed for a variety of reasons that could benefit the organization longer term.
  21. I'm assuming he's the nicest guy on the planet that everyone loves and adores (which is great btw) but even us lay people don't have to be walked thru game tape to know he should not be on the field. His time came some time ago to shift to something else whether its in football or not.
  22. Yup way overrated. Giving the opposing QB additional steamboats won't be an issue at all.
  23. Yup they played off each other so well. It felt like you were in the room listening to them banter back and forth having real conversations with genuine insights using humour to drive points home. A lost art for some in the business now, it feels more fake, needing to get likes and punching down when it serves their purpose. I know I know okay boomer though I am a X'er. ๐Ÿ™‚
