If true how to ruin a reputation in one fell swoop.

I just don't understand the difficulty the Jets are having in bringing consistent high levels of structured intensity to their every shift. Puck battles, forechecking, back checking etc lacks energy that is totally opposite of how the Avs are playing. To me that means lack of preparation, discipline, focus etc. Toffoli didn't seem in the game at all. No energy, disinterested.

I really thought after that huge 4 minute pk then 55’s beauty tap in we were going to take over. Nope.

Yup they’re playing nervous chasing Av players all around the ice.

Jets need to settle the F down and play their hockey. Lots of time. Avs dictating play for the most part making them run around with no structure.

Pk needs to step up.

My armchair qbing is not liking Samberg’s game right now after almost 4 periods. But I’m sure I’m missing something. Win a F’ing faceoff please. Jeebus.

Our pk will need to step up now as things will get evened up.

Colorado D are pinching a lot. We need to make them pay for that.

As admin time is all volunteer time not sure I'd agree with this.

Adam Proteau from the hockey News is thinking the Jets are going home early. Thinks if the the Avs can get good goaltending, their domination of the Jets in the first game and the Jets porous defensive play might be difficult for the Jets to overcome and uses last years Jets first win against the Knights than 4 straight losses as something that might come again. I'm hoping last years team and this years team are two different beasts that makes his comparison flawed not to mention the fact that we were one of the better defensive teams this year that hopefully can show it's self in game two.

I was enthralled in listening to Jake Allen break that goal down from a Goalies perspective. For example, it was not the five hole, it was the triangle spot that was hit by NM. I think with seasoning Jake Allen will fit in nicely in the Broadcast booth if that's something he wants to do after his playing days are over.

Garry Galley (whom is my fave color commenter) put it the best, this game never felt safe. Case in point was when KC put up us 6-3, no way did I feel this game is in the bag. This game's feeling brought back memories playing the 85/86 Oilers. We're up 13-1 going into the 3rd period thinking is this enough? Nope, lost 15-13. I'm exaggerating for effect but not by much.

One of the most unsatisfying wins in recent memory but no where but up in cleaning up our defensive assignments and schemes to generate hope that this type of game is one and down for the series. Type of game that non Jet Av fans probably loved to watch.

Intermission talk- let’s get back to our basics. Best Jets so far imo - Ehlers and Valardi After seeing it slow mo, that’s a penalty on NN on Lowry’s goal. If that happened on us, I’d be pissed. Of course I’ll still take it but . . .

Avs 1/2 step ahead of us + defensive miscues = yikes. Saving grace so far making best of our limited chances.
