  1. Riiiighttttt, shifting eyes quickly side to side with a confused look on face, but the fact remains the Argos suck and will always suck.
  2. Not to mention the fact its name nicely correlates with the name of our beloved football team. Win Win in my books.
  3. Let's discuss. Okay I'll stop. πŸ™‚
  4. We are definitely at the stage in the CFL where it's anybody but the Blue Bombers. That might suggest something. πŸ™‚
  5. I see someone is into the hooch early. πŸ™‚
  6. I'd like to meet the instructor of these courses. πŸ™‚
  7. For sure but that's the key right there and with no insider info on where's DW is at I think there's a bit of PTSD from last year.
  8. I hear what you’re saying but I think what some are saying here is please don’t repeat from last year ie dressing players who were no position to be able to play effectively that cost us and not in a good way, DS AB for example. Use your depth if your starters are only at 50-70 percent.
  9. I’m not crying, you’re crying.
  10. Is nice to re-visit this thread while we chat GC on other threads. It’s like comfort food when getting nervous for tomorrow.
  11. Man you have a way with words sometimes lol.
  12. I hope he stays in the Broadcast booth to grow, to get better and he has great opportunity to carve out a nice career in this field imo. And as important, he can really help strengthen the profile of the CFL to actually talk football, to help the viewer really get into our game, to learn more about it and not just hear sounds bites thrown out, made up story lines and humor suited for an eight year old.
  13. Dallas Eakins? (inside joke to help with the triggering of a certain poster).
  14. Wouldn't awarding Milligan the MODP (look INT's but not best clampdown DB) be equivalent to awarding BLM something for his productivity (look threw for a league-best 5,451 yards and 32 touchdowns but didn't help the team make the playoffs)? Or maybe I'm being too harsh on both these players because football is indeed the ultimate team sport.
  15. Well they do suck, so there's that.
  16. My guess is for some players, the choices they make for next season will be dictated on what the game outcome is this Sunday.
  17. Don't follow the NFL but can't escape AR's press exposure. That guy to me is a perfect example of someone who thinks he's bigger than the game that he plays for a living. Can't stand the guy.
  18. And yes I love the guy and what he does but there is still that stark reality of being an elite athlete. Not shitting on him at all, I least I'm not, just thinking of the team moving forward as well.
  19. Knowing I'm not an expert and knowing he's 29 but my guess is Jones may have a bit more room before he reaches his full potential. Needs to hurry up though. πŸ™‚
  20. It would seem that this situation might be added to a long list of previous examples where an athlete does not go out on his terms but forced by others to accept reality and exit stage right. You would think.
  21. Yup he does not appear to be a person who likes to be in the spotlight. He prefers the praise to be directed to others.
  22. The other nuance is beating the same green team three games in a row is no small feat.
  23. It's also a screen shot of Jamie Nye, 'journalist', every time the words Winnipeg Blue Bombers are said.
  24. Now all they need to do is assign a Public Relations consultant for CF.
