Thank you so much for helping us relive those specific moments that crushed our collective Blue and Gold souls to help serve as a reminder delivered from an Argo fan posting on a Bomber site that we, though probably unpopular but needed, should appreciate what CF accomplished because it's every kids dream who picks up a football.

I can guarantee you if you asked MOS in hindsight would he have made the same decision in starting AB and DS, he's answer would be: 'Absolutely without hesitation.'

Our mantra is going to be awkward for next season. Maybe something like: This year we mean it, we are going to reclaim the throne. And if we don't, at least we aren't the Argo's. Or something like that.

Faj running to get 13 of those 18 yards back to set up their 3rd and five was a kick right to the nut sack. Shoulda never happened. Too many spectators on that play would be my guess.

DP had an exceptional game yesterday. Did everything asked of him and more. Props to him knowing what his role was and executing almost perfectly.

Not what I saw though they only showed the replay once or twice. Slowing it down it looked like the receiver caught the ball and turned upfield. Bigger issue which was raised by a few during the game yesterday was TSN not showing F'ing replays on penalties, significant plays and such. As I believe @JuranBoldenRules put it, the game was an annoyance to TSN last night.

I posted last night confused why MOS didn't throw a challenge flag and what the hell do our spotters do and was told by a few that it wouldn't have mattered as we got the ball back in similar field position from their botched kick. However. MOS doesn't have a crystal ball to know he's eventually going to get the ball back with similar field position, second, he's got to throw that challenge flag even to get a second look and third if it is indeed overturned we have tremendous MO on our side (both on O and D) that could have helped lead to a score. Won't know though cuz no f'ng challenge flag was thrown.

Can we change the title of this thread to something like 2023 Season Autopsy Findings instead of labelling it what it is to be a true fan, i.e., the liquor and anger has subsided, oops my bad for giving up on the Bombers last night? 🙂

The way it played out in the last few minutes summed up quite accurately how it can be as a lifelong Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan. I really did think we were going to win until that last second touchdown by MTL.

We stop a 3rd and five, we are celebrating three cups in four years. We make a doable field goal last year that changes to a four peat. Make TWO plays, TWO in the last seconds of the last two GC appearances we are having a bit of a different discussion right now. Heart break city but c’mon after all said and done not bad considering. Next year will be really interesting in how this team fares. We’ll all be there for the ride bitching and complaining.

The other eight teams can’t say this as we’ve been to the GC 4 years in a row so thinking something is working but going 2 for 4 when it counts the most requires some tough decisions in a few areas. Its been a pleasure my fellow Blue and Gold diehards. Argos suck.

I was calm until the last 4 minutes of this game. My dog had to go to her safe place. So maddening how it played out the last few minutes.

Maybe but still confused why as he had no idea we would eventually get the ball back after a shitty kick on their part.

Why didn’t MOS throw the challenge flag on that catch and fumble at least to take another look? I’m not understanding that at all.

I’m hoping he’s realizing the benefits of that type of kick.
