  1. And JG I would add. Keeping him fresh in -100 doesn’t correlate.
  2. When Helle is on his game, the flexibility and positioning he shows is top shelf.
  3. Crossing my fingers not to jinx anything but I got to say if I was forced to answer which scenario would give me more anxiety, having ZC out of the lineup or BO being out of the lineup, I would choose the latter.
  4. I'll take a shot at that. My bias is how he approached sitting in the head chair. I think where his strengths lay are as a Head Coach, not as an assistant coach calling plays. I think he's a motivator, a team cohesion guy, a get good feel for getting the most out of his players, a wally Buono type coach where his coordinators do the X's and o's and he leads the team from the people end of things. He got Montreal to the playoffs two years in a row in challenging environment and I think if the little gremlin man hadn't been the GM and hadn't given the HC job to his bud (JM), he would have grown into a great Head Coach. I know professional sports is immediate results, what have you done for me lately but give him a bit of growing pains leeway and reap the rewards.
  5. My bet is Betts gets it hands down simply for the reason of how they (certain CFL media outlets) have drooled over him all year.
  6. Yea I agree with you, Sask would be horrible but at the end of the day he deserves another shot no matter where.
  7. Khari Jones deserves another shot at HC after being jobbed in Montreal imho.
  8. This is what great teammates say.
  9. We have to take care of business in the West final and after we do don't care who we play in the GC but an upset in the East final would be delicious. Relevancy here? After the East final what AH has left becomes a moot point would be delicious.
  10. I've never thought about it this way, i.e., how former elite offensive guys on the panel, i.e., Dunnigan, Stegall look at dirty defensive players like Awe, Lawrence that reminds them of how Sanchez played and how that type of consistent dirty, dangerous play risks the livelihood of players trying to put food on the table. That games of throne meme where they're shaming someone comes to mind.
  11. Great question. My answer: Argos suck.
  12. DB being mentored by the best QB in the CFL might help.
  13. Yup, Stiggers is a player. Would look outstanding in Blue and Gold.
  14. Knowing he's well liked here but how the CFL media has propped him up this year, Betts gets it hands down. And you just know CK has the inside track, barf. What matters most is bring home the Cup where it belongs.
  15. I know the game was over but it's weird to me that Blues let NS sit behind his net to drain the clock with about 16 seconds left.
  16. Fair enough but controlling for how long they have this group of QB’s locked up and putting my Blue and Gold glasses on, one would think Dru Brown would be an starter upgrade for them. But hey, there’s 5-7 other suitors that may make a enticing pitch for services.
  17. Really? The Stumps think they're in a good place with their current stable of QB's? 1 Logan Bonner. 12 Jake Maier. 15 Tommy Stevens. Fair enough.
  18. Excerpt taken from a piece done by Daniel Austin Calgary Sun on the Calgary Flames: “It was a tough road trip for us, not what we were looking for,” Zadorov said prior to Tuesday’s matchup against the New York Rangers, the start of a two-game homestand. “There’s some things that we need to get working on but I think the main thing for us is we have too many individuals playing for themselves. “We have to figure it out. Do we want to play as a team or do (you) want to play as your own guy?” Zadorov didn’t name any names. He didn’t point fingers at any specific teammates. It's all Sutters fault. Wait a sec, he's no longer there.
  19. Provides Dru Brown an opportunity to encourage the Stumps to make a serious offer ($) for him next year. You would think DB is on their radar.
  20. He enjoys his fishing like Buff? Nice mask. Love the colours. 🙂
  21. Bingo, bango, bongo. As most parents would agree here, we couldn't imagine our lives without our children, they're our universes, our being but they are fricken expensive I saw on a vehicle recently that instead of saying baby on board, financial burdens on board. I found that funny but true.
  22. I call my two lovely children walking $ signs.
  23. I really do hope he stays the in broadcasting. With some further seasoning, he could become a real good one for the CFL.
  24. Not to mention the fact that we have so many things to explore in our own back yard in this great Country of ours.
