Well in Ottawa's case, I'm pretty sure it's to give their stadium a bit more time to be completed.Doesn't make sense for Winnipeg to have a bye the last week of the season. The Winnipeg bye is to avoid colder weather games, as those typically aren't big ticket sellers for the Bombers. Plus if we make the playoffs, could be huge if we have any injuries. An extra week to get healthy for the playoffs.

Thoughts on whether he would be an upgrade over Sorensen? If this were to occur, and assuming we draft Lavertu, I'd see Lavertu starting mid-season, or at the latest in 2015.

I find music helps to motivate me throughout my workout. Without music I find it more difficult completing a workout. So I agree, working out is very mental, but you need to learn what works best for you; some music may help and others may find it counterproductive.

So I guess this guarantees we're taking Lavertu with our first round pick. Until he's ready to start though, it'll be Kowalczuk and Morley at centre.
