I believe someone timed the sacks, the only time a sack came close to 4 seconds was when Brohm was in the game, he was sacked at 3.9 seconds, Willy tho, Willy's average sack time against hamilton was about 2 seconds so yeah Gbill is slightly off there... The average amount of time it takes to sack Willy this year is something like 2.2 2.5 seconds.. That's on the oline and more so the center cuz most times those sacks that happened that quickly, well Picard was beat out his shorts really. I'd like to see these stats, because the games I've watched, Willy has a lot more than 2.5 seconds of protection on his throws. And just timing the protection of sacks gives zero indication of the talent on an OL. Total average protection would be a better indicator.

I'm at practice right now: Pat Neufeld playing RT. Starting 4 Canadians on the OL today. There's a new OL here today...number 62, white guy with a pony tail. Super high energy practice today. Guys not practicing: Richards, Darvin Adams, Gibson, Tyler. Jasper Simmons is taking reps at Khalil Bass's spot. Hurl still at MLB. Bass returned to his regular spot shortly after Simmons got a few reps. Lots of practicing special teams. Some blocking drills I've never seen at practice before. Appear to be drills to open up lanes for the returner. O'Shea very involved in special teams today, he's almost co-leading, like we have 2 special teams coordinators. Marve and Brohm splitting reps fairly evenly. Davis now getting some reps with first team offense; he looks good, quick release.

Smith looks good in my opinion. He needs a little more experience but he could be the future QB for the Riders.

Our starting quarterback is out at least according to the team until mid-October. We're 3-5, have an inept offensive coordinator, can't run the ball, give up the most sacks in the league and are counting on a third string quarterback with a tendency to force balls he has no business throwing, and you expect our coach to go 5-5 down the stretch with two games against Calgary, and games against Edmonton and Toronto to save his job.Brilliant. Look at the schedule genius. Expecting 5 wins is more than reasonable. Other teams win games with backup QBs. So should we. Oh and who decided to bring Bellefeuille back this season?

If manure gets dumped on McCallum's lawn, it would be difficult to tell that lawn from all the others in Regina. I would bet McCalum is in an apartment block as a precaution but enraged Rider fans will probably try to put manure (likely their own) on his balcony or window ledge.They'll rent a helicopter and drop manure on him while he's BBQ'ing on his balcony.
