  1. https://www.cfl.ca/2024/06/01/cutdown-tracker-teams-make-their-final-roster-moves-2/ only BC & Winnipeg have not published their cut downs
  2. you need to add Adams at LB
  3. I am talking about the insane personnel strategy we employed on offence tonight... What kind of brain trust/collaboration came up with this? I have never seen this kind of player and fan abandonment in an exhibition game… Not ever. Do we need to bring in psychiatrists for group coaching therapy? In the name of the evaluation, tonight's offence was offensive, a complete waste of time for half of our team… It was actually counterproductive
  4. My apologies for GDT ... I just woke up late last night with a night mare re our offense ... it turns out that the O was worse than my night mare I do not comment much but some times i just have to say something ... passion you know
  5. "I think Kolo is banged up a bit too" I hope we can see what we actually have for o line personnel while kolo rehabs
  6. is this coaching collobaration the best our brain trust can do ... or is it the actions of a mad man? Fuddle Duddle!
  7. we do have brains… Some of the stuff would really help,, other stuff should be avoided like the plague, For example, the NFL protect the quarterback rules would really help us up here with our franchise quarterbacks our kicking game is unique and those kind of NFL rules would just add up to stupidity for us
  8. I totally love what you're saying here. However, you cannot organize bureaucrats to support innovation. A couple of things we can do is (1) write a formal letter to the powers that be from this website. We would have to know where to address the letter: the Commissioner, the board of governors, individual team presidents, the players Association, and at TSN which decision-makers. (2) a separate website could be set up for fans across the country, for the individual players, for coaches and money management, etc. to float their ideas. It could become a debate site that the CFL marketing committee would be able to follow. Like any bureaucracy the real decisions are made behind the scenes by the unseen leaders who drive that decision-making process. It would also be worthwhile to follow the NFL rule changes and see how they might adapt to our game.
  9. When & how we find it?
  10. Ride em cowboys! "Neither starter Zach Collaros nor veteran backup Chris Streveler will dress this week, leaving the start to Wilson." There won't be any sense of offensive rhythm, that's for sure. Why does it feel like someone is thumbing their nose somewhere. Well I for one like a good joke. So let's have a sense of humour. GO BLUE! PS: I hope our defence gets enough work…
  11. "Which is why I gave up on the Coach's Show on CJOB and don't bother to listen to it. I admit that I got spoiled in the Kelly year but even Lapo gave some sort of effort at more than one or two word answers to questions. Not worth listening to 45 minutes of commercials to hear zero insight on anything." Doesn't Bauming have a podcast?
  12. so the reality is its all MOs? is he a bully authorian?
  13. what do you think the decision making process is like in Bomberville in the next few days? Will it be the position coaches and/or the coordinators who are really steering the ship? Maybe it's MOS? What it all comes down to is Kyle Walters? Of course they collaborate and cooperate. But who was really running the show? That's what I want to know when it comes to personnel.
  14. https://www.cfl.ca/plus/ for those of us at home tomorrow: STREAMING
  15. personally I would rather see ZC do the whole 1st half, with Streveler 2/3 of the 2nd ... get the vets a half too ... get some rhythm back this game, not the opener most of the roster spots have already been decided ... there are only a few decisions to be made yes a few still need a chance to shine the decisions have been made in the practices they just need to confirm the practice performers can do it in game speed conditions they are only going to change their mind on just 2 or 3 players the PR might change by just 2or 3 as well the biggest factor: injuries ... hopefully not too many hammies
  16. bad management is clueless about good coaching (check out their hiring history) ... this forecasts more gong show ... no great coach would want to be part of that
  17. Three crucial factors are 1. Management 2. Quarterbacking 3. Coaching as for talent & scouting I am out of my depth; new talent is often a matter of good luck; recognizing the quality of that new talent is everything West (# of wins) 14 Bombers good management, solid coaching 13 BC good coaching, decent management 10 Edmonton finally got a quarterback, Jones' determination 5 Sask poor management, chaos in the coaching ranks 5 Calgary absentee management, indifferent coaching East (# of wins) 13 Montreal enlightened management, team spirit 11 Toronto chaos to start, enough talent to carry them 8 Hamilton average & average 4 Ottawa delusional management, inadequate coaching Ranking Talent Winnipeg Montréal Toronto BC Hamilton Regina Edmonton Calgary Ottawa QBing Winnipeg BC Montréal Edmonton Hamilton (& a Wildcard for Toronto) Calgary Regina Ottawa Cheers!
  18. not a scoop ... a lament ... sheesh
  19. Swapping arms: Bombers release QB Eric Barriere, sign Georgia State pivot Darren Grainger I for one was disappointed. It was not just game performance that got Eric cut... tc was his try out and we definitely need succession planning for the most important position on the field… Streveler is a unique niche player but not the future of the team in two or three years
  20. love those ... check CBA
  21. Some one asked for a game summary... this is pretty good: https://3downnation.com/2024/05/20/winnipeg-blue-bombers-sputter-in-preseason-loss-to-riders-14-other-thoughts/
  22. For those of us who are less net savvy, for whatever reason, I would like us to have a place to quickly go to to find upcoming Internet events. When a bomber game is posted on YouTube, were to find certain podcasts, how to find a game being streamed, what CJOB might be doing in a special way, and other stuff. I'm not so much interested in commentary as just a common place to go for a little Bomber extracurricular: here for example is the CFL's screening page: https://www.cfl.ca/category/cfl_plus/
  23. MOS keeps looking for new dressing room leaders ... candidate Strevler
  24. Any day in Regina is a good day to win, even with all our rookies out in full force. It’s all a matter of pride. Today I want to watch (through my radio) three things: Eric Barrierre at quarterback. I want to see if his credentials have anything to do with the Bomber’s future. I fully expect we will have four QB’s kicking around at season open. He might become the new “lady in waiting”! Chidi Okeke at right tackle. I want to see if he’s the new apprentice that we are hoping for, that might be a key cog in our Hog Heaven. I expect In a better we will be starting Lofton at RT as the season starts. Our linebacker schemes. I’m assuming Kyrie Wilson will be one of the two middle linebackers in a basic 4=4=4 defensive structure. Outside of Gauther, I want to see who/what else we can put in those middle two spots. Are they going to take a peek at Brandon Alexander there, or is he just too small? This is the one place that we look just too skinny. This is THE one big challenge for our new defensive coordinator, methinks... I don’t care how much the coaches say it doesn’t matter who wins. To me it matters, kind of a lot. Beating the Roughie’s will set the tone not only for our rookies, but for our vets at home too. Preseason does matter for a lot more than just player evaluation.
  25. you mean a 90 yard kickoff is finally a rouge again?
