  1. nearly 50% of the people on here made the same "prediction"
  2. He's doing just fine in TO...
  3. I can barely watch this game with all the Odell Willis attention. Every five ******* seconds its either some dumbass "Mayor of Commonwealth" comment or a shot of him acting like a ****** moron on the bench.
  4. I haven't liked the redzone play calling as of late. It seems like every time we get within the 20 yard line, we see two deep passes to the back corner. I would also support getting rid of Bellefeuille, as long as there is a credible replacement available.
  5. Lots of chirping over there with the Cats fan. Have you forgotten your last playoff meeting with us? That seems relevant to this topic. Your right. I'll stay on topic. Not sure what to think of the move. I don't mind it if Kerry is only here to back up Tino. If he is here to play I'll be scratching my head a bit. What I will defend is not standing still, we are in the hunt still and we are making moves to try to win. Hindsight helps us decide if the moves were good or not, but I'll never criticise Taman for trying to help us win. Sunseri and Doege are both very inexperienced. I have doubts whether or not DD returns this year. If we have to go into playoffs with a rookie and a raisin sobeit. If we are losing anyway for whatever reason, I guess throwing Kerry in isn't going to matter. Time will tell if this is a good move or not. One thing I will say is for those who have wrote us off for the year, stay tuned. tell yourself whatever you have to, dude.
  6. Until he shits the bed again...
  7. haven't lost interest, but after the last game, I wasn't nearly as pissed off as I was a few weeks prior. Apathy is not a good thing.
  8. I think that's the most important take away here... for the first time in years we have a quality HC and QB to build around... now we just need to fill in all the surrounding holes... Totally. One of the big things that's holding this team back is it's inability to attract top end free agents and coordinators. With a proper HC and QB in place, it should be much easier this off-season.
  9. Merchandising sales, ticket sales, tv numbers etc say they are great fans. Hell, the fact there is still a team in Saskatchewan after how long they sucked is testament to being great fans. Think you guys have had a dry spell? The Riders up to 1966 sucked, from 1976 to 1989 and then from 1992 until around 2003. Some of the worst teams of all times. Good fans? I'd say. yeah except most of the so called fans that are around only jumped on board in 2003. The ones who went through those shitty spells I have no problems with them for the most part, it's the ones that decided "oh yeah I've always been a diehard rider fan" in the mid 2000s that I have a very big disdain for. Are you really blind to the fact that the bandwagon swelled to huge numbers of these supposed die hards compared to what used to be there in the lean years? How can you not notice it? I wasn't seeing much green around in the 90's
  10. so the Regina bandwagon jumping has been going on that long, eh?
  11. yes, because we've never left Winnipeg...
  12. What are you talking about!?!? I just drove through Calgary this summer and it was filled with potholes. Not on the sidewalks... There's sidewalks in Calgary?! I thought everyone drove from door to door...
  13. I don't doubt that he can and maybe will pass for 200/game. But I also think there's going to be some back breaking INTs tossed up as well.
  14. Edmonton is nice enough, it's just kinda dull.
  15. Actually most are okay with Sunseri. There is no replacing Durant but the Riders are a veteran team with a tonne of talent. Tino doesn't have to force anything. Is it really the case that "most are okay with Sunseri" or is it, You don't really have a choice other than to go with Sunseri.Well, we have no choice but most are confident that Tino will do "okay." He's not Darian but he'll do fine. His completion percentage this year is 52% (Sunseri) that's less than Alex Brink, only 5% better than Troy Smith.... That average sucks but how many balls has he thrown? About half as many as he's had on his chin
  16. I perhaps may have heard something that might be along those lines, maybe.
  17. recreational drugs are not banned by the CFL, if I recall correctly.
  18. oh, and Ricky Foley gives me a late 90's Vanilla Ice sort of vibe. Gross.
  19. More or less agree with this. Both of them are serviceable coordinators, but neither one is going to put together a dominant package. Sadly, we didn't really have our pick of coaches this off-season. We had to settle for whomever was willing to enter this completely unknown situation. Hopefully after this season, some better guys will be available and will be willing to jump on with a team that appears to be heading in the right direction.
  20. Hell, Andy Garcia would probably be an improvement.
  21. I can't wait to hear the Rider fans yapping about how they sold all of those hideous things. Supporting your team through thick and thin, that's something to be proud of. Simply buying any butt ugly green thing that the league or team poops out? That just seems desperate.
  22. Should never have went to that party at Mike Duffy's house.... yeah you have a few drinks and then find out 20 years later you have a daughter in Peru. La Paz Smith....A homely girl, but good hands. This made me laugh
  23. I may have heard a thing or two from a fairly connected source about new jerseys a few weeks ago. I don't know if this announcement is related to what I heard, but what I heard will make all you quite happy...
  24. I was never one who bought in before on the whole needing more coaches thing, but I sure do now. The big one for me is that we actually have a QB coach. And as Suitor said last night, Buck is also helping to mentor Drew Willy, which is great, because Buck is a great character guy as well as a true professional and someone I'd definitely want mentoring my young guns. The QB's should be getting a lot more help this year than in almost any other year, and that's got to be helping the team big time. It was mind boggling that there was all this talk about developing a QB internally over the past few years and throughout that time we never had a proper QB coach.
  25. even when the offence was sputtering, when we got the ball back in 1:40 there's something about Drew Willy that made me go "OK, we got this". It's a feeling I haven't had as a Bomber fan in a loooooong time. Usually I'd just get the opposite when we were up by 5 or 6 with a couple of minutes to go against a Ricky Ray or Anthony Calvillo. It's nice. And JFG. Holy hell. What a grab. There's some surprises on this team that have me really excited.
