Pretty much...there are only a few true superstars...or generational players...hence the name. And no Wheelers and Scheif are not. Sorry I am a Jet fan they are stars no doubt but not generational players.

Well the best that I can explain it to you is that their are stars and then their are special players above those that seperate good teams from great. Crosby,Mcdavid perhaps...Austen maybe....in the past Mario , Gretzky....not just stars but special players that when they touch the puck you just sense something special might happen....that is what Laine can bring. He is the only player on our team that has that potential. We will see.

Nope Scheifele is a star and Wheeler too but not in the same bracket as a player let's say is called a franchise player. Laine imo will be that and might be right now because of the lack of players that can shoot like he does.☺

We don't have a superstar right now but Laine is the one with the potential to be one. Who is the one player you want to see unleash his shot? Sheif and Wheeler how good were they at 19? Were they leading their NHL teams in goals? Do they posses a shot better than 99% of the league? Is the power play arranged to get them the puck? Laine is our best sniper and needs that top level center to feed him and that ain't Copp......or Little.

Went to the game...2 unlucky plays for the Jets...terrible pass by Ethlers and lucky goal for the Rangers. Still we don't look the same and y break up that no 1 unit and throw Laine on the second? Laine has not played well with Little all year yet Maurice keeps trying to plug him in there? And then he leaves the lines the same all game even when we are in a funk? Oh well the Rangers had horse shoes up their asses today....?

Yeah Santos- Knox is great , but because of injuries and weak MLB we have to look at an upgrade here. Rolling with Wild and Legget is a big time gamble. And another year with Hurl at MLB is a recipe to really get Hall fired.? I'm sure Walters has something cookin...?

It's not like Davis was a raw rookie he had 3 years in this league to develop and when his chance came he just was timid to a very noticeable extreme. If the coaches then would of come back the next game with him fine,but he then lost out to noodle arm Lefevour who started the next game. If he can't beat out Lefevour really is there any hope this guy can be a star in this league?
