Bombers bringing back Willie Jefferson

Lost Maver, signed Pfefferrerr, advantage Medlock.

It's a ratio issue, not performance based, Walters has pencilled DT as the spot to make the adjustment to allow Alexander to continue at Safety. We'll most likely see a rotation of Jake, Richardson and Griffiths along with the occasional 3 DE sets. Kongbo was a huge loss.

Walters also mentioned that they had to pay $20,000 above market rate to get Bryant to come to Wpg. in the first place, Stanley isn't stupid, he's going to get paid, especially after winning the CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman award twice and being nominated for the award by his team 5 times in his career. -

I think Demski is still around $140,000 but he's probably in line for a major boost next year. -

Walters basically stated in his interview yesterday they were already near the cap, probably has something to do with making Jefferson the highest paid D player in the history of the CFL. Also Harris is the highest paid RB in the league, Bighill highest paid MLB, Medlock the highest paid kicker and Bryant likely the highest paid OT. -
I doubt Pinball is a numbers guy, probably John Murphy who knows every trick in the book and may have written a few chapters himself in his time with Calgary.

Import receivers should be capped at around $175,000 IMO, they may not be a dime a dozen, but surely they're 3 for a quarter.
-
Can't bump Nevis but Walters is willing to offer Jefferson 3 times his salary, that makes no sense from a salary management perspective.

Apparently SJ has been helping coach the Tampa Bay Vipers receivers where Trestman is the HC, probably a transition into coaching in the works.

Not so much if you're locked inside with Pinball yapping at you all game long, I'd prefer leaping to my death court-side.

Huh? Nevis has signed as a F.A. twice by the Bombers now, he's one of the best DT's in the game, Micah Johnson was paid $250,000 to do the same job, but couldn't do it as well. How do you figure he's working for peanuts?

If your point is that MPSE the owner of the Argos, Raptors and Leafs is cheap, you're wrong.

You're way out on your geography that is filmed close to the Scotiabank Arena near the waterfront, not exactly a cheap motel.

Offer Jefferson the same deal they gave Bighill, 3 even 4 year contract at $250,000. Lock him up.

Yes I did, he was on their roster throughout the 2018 season and ran 3rd down sneaks.

Anyone ever heard of Montell Cozart? How about Marcus McMarvion? These are the two QB's the Stamps currently have backing up BLM, I doubt Huf is going to venture into the new season relying on this level of raw inexperience, the Bombers probably shouldn't either. McGuire may become a competent QB in time, but it's not going to happen until he's accumulated substantial playing time and it's unlikely he'll be pulling W's out of his hat while he's learning the ropes.

All spoiled with the hiring of Jarious Jackson as O.C., poor Matty, bad fit.
-
Was that not before they went after Jefferson?

Their leader is also their chief ass-hat.
