  1. Big raise for being their Most Outstanding Canadian nominee.
  2. You can file this plan under "dickin with Darvin".
  3. I could see a trade in the works, always thought Petermann would want to play back East and sitting behind Woli. isn't doing his career any good.
  4. Chris Lyles was with Sask. in 2017, don't know where he's been since. Good height at 6'-4" https://www.cfl.ca/players/chris-lyles/163317/
  5. I was surprised they were able to retain Petermann, I don't know what to make of bringing JFG back.
  6. Jeff Hamilton@jeffkhamilton The #Bombers welcome back a familiar face in Canadian receiver Julian Feoli-Gudino. Winnipeg also adds American defensive back Chris Lyles. #wfp
  7. I see Kevin Francis is currently a F.A., he played Teams last year in Ottawa and the previous 3 years in Sask. he dabbled in the secondary, he may be another version of Derek Jones but at 6'-5" 220 lbs. he has size and might be worth a look at Safety.
  8. Never liked Laing, he had a reputation of being a dirty player earlier in his career, I don't know if that is still true. or not. Also re-signed Jake and have Connor Griffiths in waiting, what do they need Laing for? The Argo D was near the bottom of the barrel in most categories including against the run, giving up an average of 118 yds/game compared to the Bombers 64 yds/game, if Laing is brought in to replace Nevis, I'd give it a big thumbs down.
  9. Maintaining the short game also limits Zach's exposure to getting sacked, the quicker he gets rid of the ball the better his odds of surviving to play another game. Unfortunately gambling the season on the safety of Zach's bulbacious noggin will limit the passing attack as illustrated in Ferguson's chart.
  10. Bombers seem to be bringing in quite a few Import O-linemen. BOMBERS ADD TWO LINEMEN The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed American offensive lineman Kevin Lawrence and Jarell Broxton. Lawrence (6-4, 310, Rhode Island, January 17, 1998, Bloomfield, Conn) started all 11 games on the offensive line in his Junior year and was named to CAA Football Comissioner’s Academic Honor Roll. Lawrence started 12 games in his senior year at right tackle and helped allow just 2.17 sacks per game in his senior year. Broxton (6-3, 330, Baylor, March 23, 1993 in Olney, MD) was a two-year starter for the Bears after transferring from junior college. He was an all Big-12 first-team selection and helped the Bears to the nation’s No. 2-ranked rushing offense. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2016, and spent most of that season on their practice roster.
  11. Which raises the question, was winning the G.C. an amazing fluke of circumstances? If either Glenn or Willy would have accepted the job offer earlier, Collaros would never have been brought in and I doubt they would have gotten by Calgary in the playoffs.
  12. I didn't really watch much of the game but I did tune in to focus on J-Lo's hand hovering around her crotch, I was damn sure I was going to witness a historic broadcast milestone in the making. Hyperbolic disappointment sums it up well.
  13. Dave Campbell@Dave_CHED Quality signing by the Argo and Natey gets to play at home. #CFL https://twitter.com/DavisSanchez/status/1224398577235124224
  14. You forgot highest paid RB, kicker and possibly OT as well.
  15. He's only one year younger than Adams (30), if they want to replace Darvin they should do it with someone younger.
  16. Not too long ago the Bombers had similar red-zone problems, over-relying on Medlock to score points. I'm guessing Milanovich solves that problem rather quickly.
  17. No more Kavis shuffle.
  18. Watched the first episode, funny but pretty savage, I'm surprised they would go this far mocking current members of the Royal Family.
  19. I don't know, if you want to know, go look it up, then you'll know.
  20. I guess they don't expect Stanback to return from the NFL this year, that guy was a beast. Wilder has been wildly inconsistent throughout his career.
  21. Stats. be damned, in the WSF the Stamp O-line did not allow a sack, in their week 20 matchup with the Bombers they allowed 1....that's not too bad.
  22. More Dave Hill.
  23. Ex-NHL goalie Ed Belfour arrested on mischief, intoxication charges https://globalnews.ca/news/6472350/ed-belfour-arrested/
  24. Tasker is a Dressler clone, a smaller shifty receiver who can find the soft spots in the secondary and is a handy target when trying to achieve first downs with short to medium receptions. Not sure they really want that style of receiver after they moved away from Dressler last season.
