  1. I was hoping he'd pull up his other leg and go full lotus.
  2. I believe he truly was shouting....
  3. WPG Blue Bombers ✔@Wpg_BlueBombers A championship belt for a champion! Thank you @WWE for the wonderful gift! #ForTheW 51s
  4. Jeff Reinebold ✔@Jeff_Reinebold AWESOME NEWS! @Tunde_Adeleke IS A KEY PIECE OF OUR @ticats FOOTBALL TEAM - YOUNG CANADIAN IS A VERY TALENTED GUY WHO GIVES US FLEXIBILITY AND VERSATILITY - GREAT TO SEE HIM BACK IN BLACK FOR TWO MORE YEARS! https://twitter.com/CFL_News/status/1218195286427725825
  5. You've just answered your own question, along with the bad comes some good, nothing is ever black or white. I hope Travis is writing a book, the CFL could use some exposing and Travis could shed a lot of light.
  6. Interesting details, reasonable cost $102,500-$230,000, Ti-Cats have two very good QB's for less than the price of one Reilly. Evans earned approximately $170,000 last season, during which he helped the Ticats reach the 107th Grey Cup. It was the first year of a three-year extension he inked in April 2019. The length of his new deal remains the same, but includes some extra guaranteed money. Evans was set to make a maximum of $213,000 in 2020 on a contract that was heavily incentive-laden. The deal included just $80,000 of hard money in the form of base salary and a housing allowance. His new contract includes a $25,500 signing bonus, though his housing bonus has been lowered to $12,000. This means Evans will make $102,500 in hard money in 2020 plus incentives that could carry the deal to a maximum of $230,000.
  7. More of the same shell game. Group cleaning up old oil wells says Alberta government rules inadequate https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/alberta-orphan-wells-1.5427559 Shell Canada has agreed to sell 284 sour gas wells, 66 facilities and 82 pipelines in the southern Alberta foothills to Pieridae Energy, a Calgary-based company with a market value less than the price of the assets and a stock price under $1. Observe as Shell seeks and receives provincial permission to dump liabilities after sucking off accrued profits. Meanwhile Kenney is whining to Trudeau to step in and clean up the mess at tax-payer expense,
  8. I don't believe Streveler is able to participate in workouts yet, he's still recovering from what sounded like ankle surgery.
  9. I don't know if any rules exist now but a few decades ago the Fed. govt. bailed out the CFL with a cash injection so there may have been something behind it. The bailout was denoted by Govt. of Canada stickers worn on helmets for a few years, I think it was around the time of Larry Smith
  10. If that was really the case he would have already re-signed in Wpg. and wouldn't have put his name down for a "bunch" of NFL tryouts, being as intelligent as he is he probably already knows how NFL teams intend to make use of his talent. I doubt any will seriously consider letting him read a D or throw the ball. I think he'll do whatever is asked, for the maximum payment that can be achieved, no matter the location.......no different than most football players.
  11. Streveler can't continue to take the punishment he absorbed last year if he wants his career to last longer than 2-3 more years, NFL or CFL. It's up to him to decide what his career will look like but it would be both reckless and dumb for him to continue smashing through brick walls thinking there will be no lasting effect. Hopefully he sees the light.
  12. Hecht was nearly thirty 4 -1/2 years ago.
  13. John Crosbie, a former federal cabinet minister who was known as much for his sharp wit as for his politics, has died at the age of 88. Newfoundland and Labrador Lieut.-Gov. John Crosbie is shown during an interview in his office in St. John's on Jan.6, 2011. THE CANADIAN PRESS/Paul Daly https://toronto.citynews.ca/2020/01/10/john-crosbie-obit/
  14. Seems a major miracle that 63 Canadians were killed and not a single American, is that just a coincidence or is it an indicator of our recent immigration policy in the region vs. the US's lack of interest in assisting refugees?
  15. And so it goes.....nothing new under the sun....corruption is embedded in the affairs of man as much today as they have been since The Middle Ages.
  16. This movie is pretty much as "arty" as it gets.
  17. Bugger off ya green commienist!
  18. Uhhhhh......Danny O'Brien was their backup QB last year, did he announce his retirement before or after Campbell came aboard?
  19. Probably had a few one night stands in there, hard to keep track of those....
  20. Very good news, here's hoping Medlock maintains his passion for kicking and his quest for excellence until he's at least 40.
  21. Copywrite, you owe fat Randy a cheeseburger, thin Randy might forgive, being a proud Wpg. boy.
  22. At least that's what they're saying, I don't believe BLM willingly accepts a salary reduction to help out the team at the height of his game. Huf has just returned to diverting money and back-channelling payments as before, he knows he can't stay on top without a monetary advantage.
  23. "2019 was the year of Cody Fajardo"
  24. What's the most vesatile gaming control to invest in? I play mostly on the PC Steam platform if that makes any difference. So far have gotten away with a regular mouse and keyboard but not the best control for games that require agility.
  25. In order to find one or two decent receivers per year it seems they need to bring in at least 10 with amazing highlight reels. All are talented, but most just don't make it.
