Under the new coaches cap LaPo will not have the luxury of hiring the assistants he wants, here is a list of the coaches they employed last season. I don't know which of these are still under contract. Offensive Coaches Receivers – Winston October Offensive Line – John McDonell Quarterbacks – Beau Walker Running Backs – Joe Paopao Defensive Coaches Defensive Coordinator – Noel Thorpe Defensive Line – Leroy Blugh Linebackers – Mark Nelson Defensive Assistant – Patrick Bourgon Special Teams Coaches Special Teams Coordinator – Bob Dyce

He was sitting on his couch when the Bombers last called, hopefully he is still sitting there when they call again.

Gary Crowton, says "aww shucks".

They brought McCalister back for one game mid-season and cut him for a second time, can't understand why they didn't keep him around on the PR at least as he performed well in the opportunities given.

CFL Headlines@CFL_Headlines Argos interview Stamps QB coach Dinwiddie: The Toronto Argonauts have interviewed Calgary Stampeders quarterbacks coach Ryan Dinwiddie, TSN's Farhan Lalji reported. https://www.tsn.ca/toronto-argonauts-interview-calgary-stampeders-qb-coach-ryan-dinwiddie-1.1410508?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter … via @TSN_Sports

Yes, I believe some people are under the impression Dinwiddie was the Stamps OC but he never got beyond QB coach with the Stamps under Dickenson. His name has been removed from the Stamps coaching staff on their website, so he's already gone.
-
He's been immortalized in bronze, but you want more??? Maybe they can bring back Kenny.... .... to see if he can still play both ways.
-
We've got his statue to remember him by, Bud won't be coming back.
-
Also potential for Collaros to follow LaPo to Ottawa, but that may be a risk Desjardins is unwilling to take with his Job on the line.
-
I assume LaPo is leaving on good terms, I think that means that he's unlikely to sabotage the team he is leaving by decimating their coaching staff. Dinwiddie is also available and it seems unlikely he'll get a HC offer.
-
Yah, let's see what teams offer Franklin on his next contract. If he remains a backup he can expect a haircut.

Not that I would keep Collaros over Nichols, but I prefer Zach's cold fish personality to Nichols overly emotional blubbery, when the bullets fly it's generally the QB that maintains the cooler head and seems disconnected that prevails. Both Fajardo and Evans are on the blubbery side. -
O'Shea in the background, "well that's real nice, back to work."

Farhan Lalji ✔@FarhanLaljiTSN Hearing Ryan Dinwiddie is expected to accept the #BCLions OC position if he does not get #RedBlacks HC job. Also being told that Jacques Chapdelaine is not expected to be brought back as #Argos OC. @CFLonTSN @TSN1040 @TSN1050Radio #Stamps

Meanwhile, Tre Roberson has 10 NFL workouts lined up. Adam SchefterVerified account @AdamSchefter Nov 26 More CB Tre Roberson, who had 7 interceptions with Calgary in the CFL this season, is drawing interest from over 10 NFL teams. Roberson was with the Minnesota Vikings in 2016/17 and is expected to be headed back to NFL in 2020.

Willie: You tenda.... Strev.: Hey, I ain't that type of cowboy!

J.H.C. I hope Strev. is wearing pants!

"That's alright." "Works for me."

If Collaros doesn't pause for serious reconsideration before signing an Argo contract his brain is perhaps damaged well beyond repair, nothing good can come of it. The Argos had to be near the bottom of the barrel in number of sacks given up last season, the only logical reason MBT survived the abuse is because he is actually an automaton named after his 3 constructors, McLeod , Bethel and Thompson. Sadly Zach probably won't last long.

Ahem.... The 2020 CFL free agency period officially opens at 12:00pm ET on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Collaros is under contract with the Bombers until the above date, any discussions with other CFL football clubs without permission before that time can be considered tampering.

Pretty difficult to find a Natl. DE good enough to supplement Willie and Jeffcoat without a major drop-off, they got fairly lucky with Kongbo. It would be good to draft a Natl. Safety or a solid WIL, as it is Exume and Briggs may be able to rotate in more next season. -
Here's the blueprint for shucking responsibility. Bankruptcy for profit in Alberta's oilpatch "At the root of the oilpatch strategy of bankruptcy for profit in Alberta is the energy regulator’s fictional accounting of ‘assets’ and ‘liabilities’ used to supposedly manage the province’s aging oil and gas infrastructure. The ‘assets’ counted by the captured regulator do not actually exist and will never be available to cover the ‘liabilities,’ which themselves are profound underestimates of the cost of reclamation." "Decades of captured regulators have allowed hundreds of billions in unfunded environmental liabilities to accumulate in Alberta. In the meantime, Alberta’s conventional crude oil and natural gas industries have matured and are now in terminal decline: hundreds of companies are currently insolvent and have been for some time, unable to ever pay to reclaim the mess they’ve profited from." https://www.nationalobserver.com/2017/09/08/analysis/bankruptcy-profit-albertas-oilpatch

The NFL has not accepted the terms of the "NFL Window" yet, it remains to be seen if they will. "But the NFL never agreed to the conditions the CFL wants attached to letting players free from their contracts, including that players must make an active NFL roster, not a practice roster. The CFL is also insisting that players who fail to make an NFL roster have their playing rights revert to their CFL clubs after clearing NFL waivers. The conditions the CFL wants to apply are the same ones that existed when the NFL window was part of the CBA (the window was removed as part of the agreement signed in 2010). What has changed is the NFL’s stance on being willing to accept those conditions." https://www.tsn.ca/cfl-payers-stuck-in-limbo-with-nfl-window-issues-unresolved-1.1408559
