  1. I don't see it, considering the level of competition he played against I don't think Borsa is going to be the "next one". His skill level may pan out similar to Wolitarsky and he may find his place on ST but I don't think he's going to be of the same caliber as the 4 Natl. RB the Bombers employed last season. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  2. I like Demski in the Demski role, at this point he's more valuable to the team, than AH.
  3. I half expect the dirty Riders to make a big play for Stove, ditching old Micah J. if he signs and proclaiming to their fans they have dealt the Bombers another death blow. I mean they have to do something to make it look like they're at least trying...
  4. Mourtada was 8/15, so the accuracy of your statement is out by 53.3%.
  5. O'Day just stared at Cody until he buckled.....then he wailed.
  6. That would have been under Ed Hervey and his big bag of tricks, is there anyone on the Lion staff left from his regime? I believe that was the last year Wally coached.
  7. Where is Mike Reilly when you need him??? Put that receiving corps on the field and he might un-retire.
  8. BC re-signed him in Dec. to a two year deal, he's not going anywhere.
  9. You forgot Dominique Rhymes who must be over $150,000 as well, every team needs a solid 4th receiver. 🙄
  10. 3DownNation @3DownNation Blind side's back: B.C. Lions re-sign left tackle Joel Figueroa
  11. Don't know, it could be he signs one year contracts and doesn't mind moving around, he had over 1,000 yds. receiving with the Esks. in 2019, so I don't think it's performance related. Maybe he's looking to play for a winner.
  12. Ricky Collins, the Don Unamba of receivers, he's been solid everywhere he's gone and he's as tough as Bailey inside. He may not be #1 replacement caliber at 29, but he can still get the job done as a secondary receiver. Probably fairly inexpensive too.
  13. Careful he's from the Maritimes, Kyle could send Jake over to his sea-side shack with a bottle of Screech and a contract.
  14. It could be lauther has some NFL tryouts lined up but I haven't seen anything saying he has.
  15. BC still needs to sign a vet. QB to "backup" Rourke, I don't think any of Masoli, MBT or Harris are signing for less than $325,000. They'll have to wait for two to sign elsewhere before they can bargain with whoever is left over.
  16. Wonder where Vince Young is these days? We may soon receive an update....
  17. Never heard of the guy before, but on brief investigation he continued on with his hockey career drafted by the Rangers in 1990 and even played for the Leafs briefly, he is currently an asst. coach for the Oilers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Wiseman
  18. Lauther is a Natl. so that is advantageous, plus the Riders rely on him to pull games out of the fire regularly when Fajardo can't get it done. He improves their record by at least 2-3 wins per season. Kill 2 birds with one stone, Bombers get better/Riders get worse.
  19. Lauther is a F.A., it would kick the Riders in the gonads to steal him.
  20. Yep, subliminal advertising works. I'm tempted to change it to "Dying Liver". Speaking of dying livers, did Do or Die finally drink himself to death?
  21. Not so much in the WSF, he went 5 for 8, missing from 48, 35, 44, final score Riders33 Stamps30. Ouch.
  22. Kyle is up. https://www.bluebombers.com/2022/01/24/kyle-walters-january-24-2022/
  23. I'm still waiting on the second coming of Nik Lewis, I can't figure why no GM has found a younger version of him yet. Nik was a revolutionary player.
  24. No such luck, it's been reported that he's taken training and has applied to the Seattle Fire Dept. for a job as a fireman. No ****. https://3downnation.com/2021/04/11/lions-quarterback-mike-reilly-working-towards-being-a-certified-firefighter/
  25. I must be lost....are you talking bout Cody Fajardo here??? Sure sounds like you're talking about Cody Fajardo in some kind of Star Trek spoof..... While I'm lost, two high recommendations "The Righteous Gemstones" just released season two, this show is kick-ass hilarious. Also "The Great" a British "anti-historical" satirical, comedic drama on the life of Catherine the Great, Empress of All Russia and her marriage to Emperor Peter III, focusing on the plot to kill her depraved and dangerous husband. Sounds dull, but it's very well done and quite funny, well worth watching. Plus Elle Fanning is on the screen 90% of the time....can't beat that.
