We know plastic bottles are choking our planet. So why are companies still selling them? Again, everybody agrees there is a massive problem and yet no political leader has the balls, intelligence or fortitude to step up and fix it, instead we get measly little half measures that add up to nothing. https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/plastic-bottles-1.5341617

Trevor Harris will not be playing either, so it's up to Logan Kilgore to ruin the Riders first place finish.

I've tried to watch the Deuce a few times, it seems alright but not super compelling, I may give it a try again someday if I can't find anything else worth watching.

Is one of the actors programming him the "fake Canadian guy" from those "Skip The Dishes" commercials?
-
John "da bag-man" Bowman ought to shut his flap, you can't tell me as the longest serving Al he didn't know anything about Kavis's pay-roll shenanigans.
-
.....and the next time they stick a mic. in Andrew's face requesting free content to make their living upon, perhaps he should spit right back in their faces. "Don't believe me??? No problem, just **** off".
-
O'Shea confirmed that he was voting for Harris on the latest Coach's Show.

For shame. David William Naylor ✔@TSNDaveNaylor The Winnipeg chapter of Football Reporters of Canada did not make Andrew Harris the @Wpg_BlueBombers nominee for outstanding player or Cannadian. Those went to Willie Jefferson and Mike Miller. Harris is therefore out of the running for both awards.#CFL #bluebombers

I'm not all that surprised, left to boardrooms protecting their profits, and unions protecting their jobs, progress like this is going to be fought hard and suppressed. If these groups wanted to make the change over to EV production for the betterment of our atmosphere they could easily have begun 50 or more years ago, Big Oil and Wall Street were too greedy to allow it despite the ramifications we now face, If it wasn't for the Chinese govt. pushing ahead with strict mandates this transition would be delayed another 20 years or more. By pushing it now Chinese car makers are challenging the market to keep up with their production or be eliminated from the game.
-
I recently watched the following documentary about German car manufacturers and how they're approaching the issue of transitioning their industry over to EV manufacturing without sacrificing sales or their advantage as the leaders in diesel and internal combustion technologies. Very interesting film refreshing in it's honesty, the Chinese govt. has been the main driver in pushing this technological transition faster than expected. Imagine if the Germans are in trouble, how screwed the American car makers are with ole dumb-ass Trump fighting to turn back the clock on allowable car emissions in Californ-i-a.

Perhaps Shawn Lemon can break on through.....one...last....time, and drop a 250 lb anvil on BLM's throwin elbowt.
-
Right, I forgot about them potentially ending up in 3rd, still it would not be a surprise if they choose to rest some starters.
-
The Edm./Sask. game will be over before the Stamps/Lions game begins this Saturday, so that may alter the Stamps roster and their interest in winning the game.

3 out of 4 times that throw ends up being intercepted, so luck was on his side as much as skill. In his post game interview Collaros mentioned that he saw Woli. standing uncovered on the 1 yd. line, which you can briefly see in the replay, still he decided to go for the riskier throw to Darvin in the back of the endzone. It worked out favourably this time.

I don't know what happened to the Esks pass rush, their D-line started off the season like the scourge of the league, but last game against the Riders they only had one sack with the LB's contributing 3 more. Hats off to JSK who led the team with 8 DT's and a sack.
-
So is Roh actually injured or has he played his last game for Wpg.?
-
This would be by far the best way to approach the playoffs, but whether they do it or not....I dunno. It depends on the state of Streveler's health with 2 more weeks of recovery and O'Shea's acceptance that having both contribute gives them their best chance of advancing. I don't believe the odds are in their favour of winning a playoff game in Calgary without both QB's participating heavily, if they're lucky enough to face the Riders their chances of success are much better with either QB leading the way as long as they can dominate the trenches.

Be the first to get a Mike Miller jersey.

Is this photo an accurate depiction of height? I've not seen many photos of Brian Pallister, but if Scheer is 6'-4", how tall is Pallister?

I dunno if they would be willing to outbid the Argos for Masoli, Desjardins is kind of cheap, they may end up with Arbuckle instead.
