I think the Ti-Cats will choose to stick with the cheaper Evans option over re-signing the more expensive Masoli,. Evans is a more conventional QB that is easier to game plan around and probably easier to protect from injury, thus the more reliable option long-term.

So they shouldn't bother trying to protect them?

Legal tackle but ultimately fatal, I wouldn't be surprised to see the CFL move further in the direction of protecting their QB's after this disastrous season. NFL already has done this with their "no landing on the quarterback" rule change last season, I expect the CFL to do the same for the betterment of the game. I refuse to tune in to watch Logan Kilgore battle Danny O'Brien unless they're in a boxing ring.

O'Shea addressed this yesterday in his press-conference, kind of indicated it was a roster decision and that Bailey had earned his spot.

Exxon accused of low-balling impact of carbon pricing on oilsands projects. “Exxon in effect … create(d) the illusion that it had fully considered the risks of future climate change regulation and had factored those risks into its business operations … The company was exposed to far greater risk from climate change regulations than investors were led to believe.” The documents allege Exxon lowballed by $30 billion the impact of carbon pricing on 14 Alberta oilsands projects. They claim carbon costs at the Kearl project in northern Alberta were understated by 94 per cent. The documents also allege that low carbon cost estimates falsely extended the economic life of some assets. It claims the life of Imperial Oil’s facility in Cold Lake, Alta., would be 28 years shorter if assigned a true carbon price." https://calgaryherald.com/pmn/news-pmn/canada-news-pmn/oilsands-carbon-liability-at-centre-of-closely-watched-new-york-fraud-lawsuit/wcm/1de785c5-fbde-4745-a007-7a39d2a90502 Funny, if climate change is not a risk why would Big Oil resort to lying and cheating so frequently?

Jason is right in there fanning the flames. As long as he can point fingers at Trudeau he doesn't have to take responsibility for being unable to do anything to change the economic downturn Alberta is experiencing. "I asked the premier if he’s concerned his panel could end up moderating separatist rallies. Here’s what he said. "There will be public town halls “for exactly that reason.” “There are two approaches that leaders can take in an environment like this in Alberta today. “One would be to dismiss and ridicule the sentiment of frustration that is palpable. That is the worst mistake possible. That would just, I think, create even more frustration. “The other alternative is to actually listen to people and discuss what they have to say. I think that is the much wiser approach. That’s exactly why we’ll be appointing this panel.” https://calgaryherald.com/opinion/columnists/braid-kenney-wants-to-hear-separatist-anger

No, this group of conservatives is not associated with the name "Torie" and they have nothing much in common with the old Progressive Conservative party. They're the Satanic offspring of Preston Manning's old Reform Party and they share many similar values and motives with the Republican Party.

Watching the game highlights tells the tale, can't give BLM that much time in the pocket to find his receivers, he's too damn good. The D failed to pressure Mitchell, can't do that and expect to win.

I did not know they farmed seaweed....kelp I guess?

Khari kicked around the league for many years as an O.C. in BC and Hamilton with middling success and was even demoted back to QB coach in Sask. for a stretch under Cortez, so he's no magic bullet solution.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but "The Righteous Gemstones" starring John Goodman is hilarious. Premise[edit] The Righteous Gemstones centers on a family of televangelists and megachurch pastors led by widowed patriarch Eli Gemstone (John Goodman). Eli and his bickering children, Jesse (Danny McBride), Judy (Edi Patterson), and Kelvin (Adam DeVine) live opulent lifestyles funded by their congregations' tithing, and work to expand their network of megachurches, making enemies of the pastors of existing churches, such as Rev. John Wesley Seasons (Dermot Mulroney). This expansion leads them to reconnect with Eli's estranged brother-in-law, "Baby" Billy Freeman (Walton Goggins), whom they tap to lead their newest church.

Interesting that they're making these edible capsules out of seaweed, sure looks like plastic to me. It would be great if they figured out how to use land weeds and other plant fibre to cut down on plastic production. Stripping the oceans of seaweed would be a disaster for marine life.

I don't know to what extent he's been practising but he's been fully dressed for a couple of weeks now, so I think he probably has one of those troublesome "fake" injuries.

Craig Roh asks "why?". I guess it's now official, Desjarlais grades out above Gray and Speller on the depth chart for the 5th game running since Neufeld's return, I don't think anyone saw that coming. Gray is signed through the end of next year but I think Speller will probably be a F.A. after this season, good chance he moves onto greener pastures if nothing changes, but a lot depends on what they do with Neufeld.

You can't really compare the roster that O'Shea and Walters inherited in 2013 to the roster Khari recently inherited. The 2013 Bombers were lacking in almost every position, despite his flaws and lack of respect for the salary cap Kavis did a half decent job attracting a number of all-star level F.A. from across the league and Joe Mack has found a number of very good Imports in the last few years to supplement them. Plenty of top level performers throughout the Als roster, Muamba, Campbell, Lokombo, Murray, Cunningham, Evans, Loffler, Stanback, Ackie, Bray, Lewis....

That's because he mostly hitched a ride with Nichols getting there, he's also played enough games now that he has few tricks left that the opposition D hasn't already seen.
