Only if someone were pushing for it, otherwise such a detail would likely be ignored or missed by immigration.

Anyone catch Chamblin's remark about Ian Wild making lots of good plays but also lots of bad plays? He's learned nothing from his years in Sask.

Fair enough, 110% speculation on my part, it would be extremely unusual for a football club to agree to such terms but I could see Harris asking for it and Walters granting it to get him back in a Bomber uniform considering the state they were at in terms of a rebuild. It's worked out quite well for all parties regardless. Before Harris came along the RB's that preceded him were Nic Grigsby, Paris Cotton and I think Will Ford, all highly skilled but not dominant performers.

Jones stole money from the Rider organization, the difference is he put it in his contract and got the flat-billies to agree to let him do it.

I do wonder how much say Harris has in the amount of playing time he receives. It was quite clear when he played in BC he was not pleased about sharing reps. with Stefan Logan even though Logan was a helluva good RB at the time and no one can fault Wally for using that strategy. Could it be that Harris made it clear when he jumped to Wpg. that he wanted to be "the man" and even had it written into his contract that he would not share the load without first giving permission? I don't know how else to explain the reason he would stay in the Argo game until under 2 mins. remained on the clock before passing off to Augustine. Harris may not admit he cares about stats. but you have to believe he's driven enough to want to leave behind a legacy as one of the best Natl. RB's to ever play in this league, and the best way to do that is to accumulate the career stats. that will speak for themselves long after he's retired. As TSN points out every week he's quickly climbing a number of all-time lists and even Harris must realize he's running out of time to accomplish his goals.

Not sure about that, Hardaway would have an entire team to hold as ransom.

I always take Herb Z's whiny posts with a table-spoon of salt but here are a few of his recent tweets. Herb Zurkowsky@HerbZurkowsky1 This #AlsMTL organization just can’t stand out of its own way. Fire a GM with a home game in a week ... on a two-game winning streak? I understand new ownership wanting its guy in place, but why not wait to see how the season now unfolds? Herb Zurkowsky@HerbZurkowsky1 The firing of #AlsMTL GM Kavis Reed can only mean the team has been sold. With them on a two-game winning streak, hope the new ownership group knows what it’s doing Herb Zurkowsky@HerbZurkowsky1 I’m told American agent Johnathon Hardaway was recently approached to become #AlsMTL GM.

I don't suppose there is any word on BLM's injury but I expect the team will regain form once he finally returns. With their poor start there is little chance they will be able to catch the Bombers in the standings, it's super important the Bombers kick their butts as well as the Esks. head to head and in the playoffs establishing dominance, if they can accomplish these goals throughout the season, taking the G.C. should be a cake-walk.

The fact that he can take it on or off without loosening the chin strap is pretty ridiculous. I can see losing your lid becoming a penalized safety infraction shortly, it happens too often nowdays.

Joe Mack pulls off the palace coup. “Joe Mack will now have oversight of all football operations, but the team will be jointly managed with Khari Jones,” Alouettes President and CEO Patrick Boivin said in a team-issued statement. “Specifically, coach Jones will now be responsible for our active roster on a daily basis, and Joe will oversee all player personnel and football operation matters, including salary cap, contracts, operations and logistics. Patrick Donovan remains Director of Football Operations. These are standout individuals and are steadfast on collaboratively doing what is best for this team to win.” https://www.cfl.ca/2019/07/14/als-part-ways-gm-kavis-reed/

Argos at Bombers - Game Day

Not sure why people are saying Speller played badly, the Argos only had 3 sacks and one of them was negated by a RTP penalty. -
Moe may have decided to retire when no teams called in F.A..

Who, this guy? He's used to it.

I thought the CFL reintroduced the NFL option for all players?

Nichols operates the offence much more effectively than Streveler is able to at this point, which should be expected based on experience. Imagine the offence has 7 gears, Nichols is able to shift through all 7 fluently while Strev. is only able to handle the first 3 gears before grinding the gear box to ****.

As long as the O-lineman keeps the rusher locked in front of them they tend to ignore the holding that goes on every single play. Only time they call it is when the defender breaks around them and they're still hanging on.

H.H. to Cody Speller for stepping in against Cleyon Laing who can be more than a handful when playing angry.

I think this is what it looks like when O'Shea decides not to run up the score. -
