  1. That should be the non-Schooners.
  2. Because O'Shea wants to destroy him slowly, grind him down till his career is nothing but dust. BTW he's using the same tactic to destroy Booch's credibility.
  3. Circus catches are great but I'll take a well placed ball with extra YAC everytime over a crumpled receiver landing on his head and being touched down.
  4. Stop ranting garbage, your son could watch almost every CFL game in the US streaming CFL+, but Daddy wants to blame the bad scarf man instead! https://www.cfl.ca/plus/
  5. Haba may have a hard time getting back into rotation when he returns, he could end up being the the Ravi Alston of the D-line waiting around on the PR for injuries to occur.
  6. If they want to play together they could choose anywhere they want, with the most likely destination Toronto.
  7. In todays world it's just BS sprinkled on top of a meaningless word salad, in the business world it can come down to $$ compensated for lost revenue to be extracted by lawyers.
  8. Logically Clercius and Wilson become starters next season, Clericus replaces Bailey and just have to make room for Wilson. Lucky is a one season fling unless he wants to hang around on the fringe like McCrae next season, he'd still play a lot of games filling in. Eli might be a perennial 6th O-lineman, they didn't hesitate to insert Randolph ahead of him, can't see him progressing till he beats out Kola.
  9. I can't believe Demski's salary jumped that much between 2023 and 2024, but if he signed an incremental 3 year deal in 2023, next year will be even higher unless they renegotiate. 2023 9) Nic Demski, Winnipeg Blue Bombers (N) Hard money: $175,000 Maximum value: $175,000 The 29-year-old received a $35,000 signing bonus to ink a three-year extension with his hometown team through 2025 with the value of the deal rising in each respective year. The rest of his earnings for 2023 will be paid in the form of a $140,000 salary. 2024 4) Nic Demski, Winnipeg Blue Bombers (N) Hard money: $225,000 Maximum value: $225,000 The 30-year-old was named a West Division all-star for the third consecutive year in 2023 after eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career. He received a $65,000 roster bonus on Jan. 1, $30,000 of which he forwent last season to help his hometown team against the salary cap. The rest of his earnings will be paid as a $140,000 salary and $20,000 in non-football-related services. After all this is 3DN speculation and not verified CFL info, I think they are also throwing the "non-football-related services" fee on top which was never known to exist prior to this season. Nonetheless Walters has to cut back on the receiver budget to bring back balance to salary management, axing hometown boy Demski is not the likeliest path chosen.
  10. He's been kicking around the CFL since the Stamps brought him north in 2015.
  11. With Harris back, it diminishes the chance the Bomber have of winning the LDC, which is a win I was counting on if they started Patterson.
  12. Don't expect any bomber nominees to get an easy ride, after years of dominance the Bomber hate/fatigue is thick league wide, it will take an outstanding performance to win any league awards.
  13. The Bombers played very well but I don't know if they've got the monkey off their back or not, there's been too much inconsistency this season to feel confident the patient has made a full recovery. Looking good but upcoming games against BC and Sask. will indicate whether they can become a contender again.
  14. If Zach can lead Wilson into the clear with passes instead of always holding him up or pulling him back he'll become a TD machine, one on one DB's won't be able to stop him.
  15. If you don't know what Florida is like in summer don't go, your body won't understand what's happening and it would take weeks to adapt.
  16. I don't expect Woli to be out long as they haven't even removed his name from the roster, but you never know.
  17. That might indicate they won't be pursuing Bailey any further, they could have cut Lucky quickly before he got further invested in the team, too bad as Rasheed would be a much better fit.
  18. Take into account injuries which have been substantial and unfortunate this season compared to seasons past.
  19. If you've ever observed a 2 year old fall down and lay on the ground it looks remarkably similar.
  20. His value was always clearly apparent, question is Bailey willing to sink as low as Roosevelt and Lucky to extend his career and prepared to be cut or relegated to the PR when the designated starters get healthy. Pokey Wilson will be a Bomber for at least 2 seasons, once his contract expires anything could happen.
  21. Not exactly, Kevin usually got to play a season or two for the teams that signed him.
  22. Both sides know Bailey won't be re-signed next season unless one of the five receivers with spots locked up is dealt away, which is a possibility. If he's signed at all it's as temp. help till the end of the season, it's now a game of Walters negotiating "how low will you go to extend your football career?"
  23. I'd bet a solid nickel the next HC of the Bombers is Mike Miller, circa. 2028.
  24. Haven't had a chance to re-watch the game and may not get to, how did you think Garbutt looked? In first watch he didn't make much of an impression. The Elks have some raw young DE's Kyle should keep an eye on for a trade. Would love to see some mid-season trades just to shake things up and put everyone on notice, change is coming to a football team near you.
