Same thing will happen to Dressler's coaching career if the Bombers don't make room for him, somebody else will. -

Jones left town so fast he forgot to turn off the porch light, didn't have the courtesy or the nerve to hold a press conference thanking anyone for the opportunity or support. Weasel was and weasel shall be. -

I think it will come down to $$, how much can the Bombers afford to pay Strev., if they decide to keep running with Nichols? From the look of things the proficient QB supply will not match demand into next season and there will be some desperate teams shopping, so I would expect he will garner plenty of attention and receive a hefty pay increase. Setting up to be similar to the Drew Willy scenario, receive starting wages before earning them. -

This is totally on them, in a properly run organization they would have an asst. coach in place to promote to H.C. from within, but because they gave all the keys to the kingdom to Jones, they're left with the consequences of his choices. But don't blame Jones....he's immaculate. -

Best case scenario for them this year is Jennings, Glenn or they pry Franklin away from the Argos, they's hooped. -

I assume LaPo is making close to $300,000 as the highest paid coordinator in the league, under the new coaches salary cap how much more could the Riders afford to pay him, $400,000? For that pay increase it does not seem wise to step into a fevered hornet's nest where the end result will most likely lead to an eventual firing to add to his resume. I can understand but question if his desire to be a H.C. is more important than anything else in his life and he has unfailing confidence in his ability to perform miracles without a solid QB. As it stands he gets to continue his work with the highest scoring offence in the league, push for a legitimate shot at a G.C. and go home every night to his 3 young kids and wife. You won Paul, you won. -

The league needs to create stability within the teams, they can't allow coaches to jump around like monkeys between trees just because that's the way it was done in the past and they despise wearing collars. If it needs to be reduced to one year contracts with no outs for all assistants, so be it, the league should seek stability and not allow teams with more pocket change to wreak havoc on teams that have been managed well. Turns out the Riders "plan" was in the possession of just one guy and he just walked out the door with it. -

What if they don't even bother to interview McAdoo? Seems to me that might create a bad vibe in house, he is the one Jones anointed Asst. Coach and of course Jones isn't responsible for any of the mess he's left behind. 1-2-3 BOLT! -
I hope you're wrong too, no need to spend big money on an established name receiver when their shopping list of needs is so short. Either find a receiver through scouting or gamble on a younger F.A. with all of the measurables just coming into their own like Dominique Rhymes.

Great interview with Bighill. https://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/21-questions-with-blue-bombers-star-linebacker-adam-bighill?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Cheney is essentially a pretty boring person, not highly skilled or intelligent so the movie kind of drags. They use a narrator to explain some of the sub-plots and move the time-line but in the time I gave it I never figured out who the narrator was supposed to represent. I enjoyed the movie "W" about George W. Bush much more than this one.

Tried to watch Vice but gave up half-way through due to lack of interest, might try it again later but kind of doubt it.

You forgot to mention he also broke the Kent Austin leaving story, if you ask him even 10 years later, he'll still tell you all about it. -
I'd guess the Bombers front office isn't the most savvy social media bunch and they probably chose to ignore Farhan's comment on purpose, but I don't think they should let this controversy fester. Either they or LaPo should make a statement to set the record straight, especially if there is no discord among parties. In the least they could prod Bob Irving into putting out a tweet to clarify the situation. We need some facts to stuff down Riderfans throats!

I don't agree, Demski's versatility as a RB/receiver makes him difficult to replace, the only other player currently on the team that can fulfill that role is Flanders and we've seen the problems getting him on the roster. A key element of LaPo's playbook is creating distractions away from Harris so defences can't key on him, that includes running and passing options and Demski adds both.

Whether LaPo is happy or not, I'm just glad the Bombers have a G.M. in place with enough common sense and the cojones to say N.F.W.. If LaPo is so offended that he wishes to leave the team at the end of this season it gives them a full year to search for his replacement. It's probably happening anyway, so best prepare. -

Great, you're happy for Chris Jones, you should be equally happy with the mess he left the team in. Enjoy it. -

Sure doesn't sound like something Paul would do, he's too smart to ruffle feathers. Awaiting his concise response. -

Depends if there is any truth to it. I rather doubt there is.
