  1. I dunno, seems appropriate.
  2. If you listen to the post-game interviews of BLM and Dickenson on the Stamps. website they make it clear they were very aware they were locked in a stalemate in the 2nd half and the only way to break through it was to attack aggressively and take some chances. It worked. I didn't see evidence of that realization coming from the Bomber sideline or any aggressive alteration to the game plan in a timely enough manner to make enough difference in the outcome.
  3. Watch the freakin' video, kudos to Nichols for stepping up on the podium and facing the press, it's pretty clear he was devastated and wanted no part of it. To pick apart his words and try to read meaning into them after a huge loss is absurd, he was colossally disappointed.
  4. I like the size and upside of Dominique Rhymes finishing off his second year with Ottawa, he might be an over-shadowed sleeper on that team and probably won't cost much as long as he doesn't stand out this Sunday. Young, big, good hands and adequately fast but not a blazer.
  5. Sounds like Dressler is interested in another year if they want him, can't see O'Shea saying no. Same goes for Medlock.
  6. I'm not looking at the O. to accomplish more than they usually do in a well played game but in what the D. can do to prevent BLM free access to the endzone whenever he wants as he did in the first matchup. It's imperative they play a very good game and do not give up numerous explosion plays to the Stamps, it all comes down to pressure and coverage, the O will take care of it's self.
  7. No ordinary play, Demski catches the ball aprox. 10 yds. down field and proceeds to fight for extra yards, the ENTIRE O-line continues to charge down field and proceeds to bulldoze the pile pushing it forward....on a passing play 15 yds. beyond the line of scrimmage. Wow.
  8. Durant was not touched, so he's free to get up and continue on with the play.
  9. stupid-marries-stupid???
  10. Best step back or you're liable to be coated in spittle. Pity Ambrosie, he'd better wear a wet suit and snorkel and pack a baseball bat when he attends Grey Cup events next week to keep frothing Rider fans at bay.
  11. So funny, revisionist history in the making. Riderfans are in a bee-buzzing frenzy establishing their narrative excuse for the 2018 season and how the Bombers and "Dirty O'Shea" somehow managed to cheat the Riders out of victory in the playoffs, once well crafted the story will fester on for all eternity and become a much repeated legend. Meanwhile back at the shack, Chris Jones and company are sitting back sipping bourbon and cackling wildly as they've been exonerated of any failings by their half-witted employers and will probably be rewarded with an extension.
  12. Self preservation dictates Jones pretty much has to obtain a high quality QB this off-season. Without a better starting QB than they currently employ they don't even make the playoffs next season and the steely knives will be drawn for blood.
  13. Very well mannered group, one used to bring a broom and dustpan onto the field to help sweep up Buck's chiclets and other assorted body parts.
  14. Good points, that can all be dealt with in the off-season. I believe adding suspensions with no pay would have an immediate impact on players pursuing the QB, but it would be nice to see the rules applied equally to protect all players not just the QB's.
  15. To appease the fans in Sask. this extra official will be wearing green stripes.
  16. Adam "Clubber" Bighill.
  17. Least penalized team in the league, they don't need to play dirty to put down Bridge and the Riders.
  18. Truthfully their best hope was for a P.I. call, not an actual pass completion.
  19. I swear Nevis missed the entire 3rd Q and maybe more, I thought Jake was going to die out there without substitution.
  20. The Riders have to sign a QB already playing in the CFL to have any chance of being competitive next season, Jones already knows this and will have to budget accordingly. Realistically they are not likely to find a QB new to the CFL who will be able to contribute much in his first year, if good and lucky middling second year success is even against the odds. Just think of how long it took Nichols and Masoli to get to the point they are at now, 7 or 8 years of hard fought experience and tribulation to gain their first playoff wins.
  21. Boy oh boy oh, what a golden opportunity for a half-crazed Bomber fan. "Dose pipes all look kinda da same on paper eh boss, hows a body not expected to mix up a pipe or twelve, "fresh"-"flush" not much difference eh boss, kinda funny..."
  22. Can you believe that bum Don Unamba was named an Eastern All-Star! He's terrible! So glad he was released in 2014! (that's sarcasm btw)
  23. Sounds like he could be gone for the entire playoff run, time for Wild to step up and return to form.
  24. Kenny's not dead yet....who put him in the freezer!!!
