Chris Matthews signs with Stamps

Collins has been available multiple times for bottom dollar, once they crossed his name off the list they weren't looking back. Same with Thorpe. -
Exactly, the same attitudes still exist today in large pockets that have been present throughout their history, the corruption at the top has existed since the very beginning and they're reluctant to make progress to alter that hierarchy because the benefits of this system of government flow freely up. By televising the Kavanaugh hearing they exposed their bones by opening a window into how they select a supreme court judge and low and behold there is nothing to witness beyond naked nepotism at work.

Having spent 5 years living in the USA I'm not convinced it hasn't always been this way. None of the recent events have surprised me much, it's just a bit more repugnant now that their great leader is trumpeting these values openly.

I find this hard to believe, driving around rural BC I come across cookie-cutter dairy operations wherever I go, not saying all dairy farms are like this but there sure are a lot of them and none more than 20 years old. Modern dairy barn out back and a big house for multiple families with a swimming pool up front, always the same layout. I assumed the house was set up as temporary accommodations for dairy workers and maybe their families as they never have the usual accoutrements lying about that go along with a house or a real farm that is permanently occupied by one family. Sure looks corporate to me.

When asked about what they did differently in the Esks, game in his interview yesterday, Hall basically said the players just executed better but it was the same game plan, same number of blitzes were called but better results. https://www.bluebombers.com/2018/10/02/richie-hall-october-2/

Congratulations you've come to the realization that football isn't life or death and life goes on with or without the Bombers, in the end it's just sports entertainment, and following the team is little more than a pastime or a hobby. I grew up a fanatic Bomber and Jets fan but I had at least a 10 year spell of college, career development and chasing various women when following sports closely or taking time out to watch sports or television was not a practical use of time, it only gets worse when you start a family. In time you'll probably settle down, find some spare time and migrate back to what is enjoyable for you. Good luck on your journey.

Good to know, rarely purchase beef anymore.

You're correct, all Frenchmen sound the same to me!

I imagine pigs and chickens are currently being supplemented with growth hormones in Canada as well?

No suggestion of who is replacing McDiarmid, it's a big job somebody has to take over these duties.

It really seems like someone has put their thumb down on the creative abilities of this team, since the loss in BC earlier in the season it seems to be a lot of bland bread, no butter.
-
Not for this game, take a look at the brace Bighill is wearing on his arm. I question why he was even practising earlier in the week.

If Demski is indeed out for this game they need to get Flanders on the roster NOW, otherwise there was no point holding him in reserve all season long. He can rotate half-time with Petermann in Demski's slot and Petermann can fill in for Thomkins or Dressler when Flanders takes the field to maintain the ratio.

The Rider D allowed the Bombers 193 yds. rushing in the LDC, that does not sound very good to me, if it happened once it can happen again.

You are correct, luck has nothing to do with any of these events. If football was broken down to it's minutiae of motion and forces no action would be found to be random, physics could explain every action of the ball completely. Without a detailed description or understanding of these forces people conveniently attribute these events to "luck" or "the hand of God", neither of which is real.

It's not that far-fetched to say Wolitarsky could have been completely ignored by LaPo and Nichols had Streveller not relied on him heavily during his starts and revealed his abilities. All it takes to find out whether a player is a baller is to make them a part of the game plan by throwing the ball in their direction more than once or twice per game and see what happens. Many receivers playing that position never get the opportunity to show their stuff and only get thrown to as a last resort.

Interesting, I see Flanders, Speller and Spooner have all been moved to the P.R.. I wonder if Ambrosie has told teams not to mess with other teams P.R. under his rule. It seems teams are pretty well behaved this year and the fact is, every team needs an expanded roster to protect more players than is currently allowed.

C'mon, he attends "most" practices.

This story is almost unbelievable, can you imagine a private enterprise allowing this situation to continue unabated? I'd be mounting a machine gun turret on the roof if it was my shop. Once word gets out on the street about access to free booze, this problem is only going to escalate. As MLM is a govt. run enterprise which employs unionized employees they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's likely nothing will be done, as nobody involved is losing money out of their own pockets and the union will not allow their members physical risk by actually confronting the thugs. Police dept. is happy because more crime means more work and more money! Only loser is the tax-payer, but golly gee they have bottomless pockets, don't they???

Come on, have some class.

Interesting, not a lot of deep throws even back then.
