In reality you can't expect Lankford or Washington or Petermann or any other inexperienced receiver on the squad to alter and adapt their routes without years of playing experience and a full understanding of the play being called. This is one essential ability that is learned and has helped tiny Dressler establish an all-star career over the past 10 years.
This especially applies to Dressler, he's very good at breaking off routes and getting into Nichols field of vision at mid-depth to help him out, Nichols relies on him heavily and is less effective when he's absent. Hard to pass that savvy onto a new receiver who is mostly concerned with running the route as designed and holding onto the ball if thrown to. Tasker does the same for Masoli.
The L.O.S.
The L.O.S. is aprox. 1 ft. before the Esks. 15 yd. line, at 2:26 Reilly reaches that point and is still in possession of the ball, by the time he releases the ball his entire body is beyond the 15 yd. line. The caveat is that he was airborne when he released it, but to me a plane is a plane and he definitely broke it.

AB. has abundant NG, they should have led the way in shutting down coal fired generators, instead they're dragging their heals. If you think they're okay you need to go live down wind from one, it'd shave 5 years off your life.
Pffttt...Nichols comments are the reason the booing got blown out of proportion to begin with, before he publicly sulked the only other person talking about it was Suitor, attempting to whip up a QB controversy.
Nichols said after the bye week that he was 100% healthy, if he lied about his health to rush back in than that is an issue as well. From his previous experience with Jones in Edm. I'm sure he's been left with all sorts of mental scarring after being replaced and discarded.
Bombers will be in full out damage control this week, Darren Cameron has his work cut out for him. It will be interesting to hear how they respond to the torrent of criticism that has been thrown at them.
I don't believe anybody is asking for Streveller to replace Nichols unless it is a blow out, but it's time for Nichols to pull up his socks, shut his trap and perform to expectations if he wants this team to proceed upwards. Most fans are upset with O'Shea's unwillingness to make use of Streveller's skills at opportune times and allow him to gain experience when the opportunity presents itself. I'm sure with O'Shea's track record of QB management Streveller will develop into a fine QB.......for some other team.
Reilly takes a lot of time in the pocket to hit those receivers deep, he seems easier to harass than Harris. Loffler has to get back to cracking some ribs to discourage those deep bombs from being caught.
