  1. The Ti-Cats need to fire one coach every week until they win a game, next up Mark Washington. If it gets down to Milanovich bring in an old blockhead coach from Texas with a brush cut to boot him square in the nuts in front of the team to send the message, football is not played by ***** cats. The entire organization is a mamby-pamby mess.
  2. Strev. has had 5 years to show he can do other things well and play like a normal QB, he hasn't done that and he's not likely to be afforded the luxury of rediscovering his inner Zach during a season the Bombers look to be desperate to make the playoffs. I'll predict if he's here next season, he'll be filling the same role as gadget-man..
  3. Nah, don't think Gray ever played RT, he subbed a few times for Bryant at LT on the rare occasion Stanley could not play or was rested. In those games he did not give up any QB sacks like Dobson is prone to do. You might be thinking of Lofton subbing for Hardrick late in 22 against the Lions, funny thing is he played quite well in that game and did not give up a sack either.
  4. He filled in for Stanley a few times and didn't look out of place in years past. It would have been interesting if Bryant had to leave the game yesterday how they would have shuffled the line to cover for him.
  5. Barker is a not stop yapper, he can fill voids easily even when he has nothing intelligent to say, he'll just talk, talk, talk, till the cows come home.
  6. Have to agree, what Strev. is doing to his body is not sustainable, if he was starting longer term eventually he'd end up on the 6-game and they'd be stuck playing Wilson. That game plan was enough to beat the RB's on a bad night but not a long list of teams it's going to work against, including next weeks opponent the Stamps. Strev. showed he is not the future replacement for Zach, he is what he's always been, a gadget QB that can help out occasionally.
  7. Somebody mentioned on the CJOB post game show that this game was a throwback to 2019 when Strev. was the starter at the end of the season between Nichols injury and Zach's arrival, he plays about the same way now as he did back then. Also as strong a reliance on FG's as in Medlock's time and strong ST play on both sides.
  8. Question is would they have won if Brown was able to stay in the game, eventually he might have gotten on track and been able to outscore Castillo.
  9. Had high hopes for Cole but he's been mostly invisible for 4 games now, seems to have talent but not very consistent at applying it. Somebody is going to step in front of him and take his job if he can't establish himself as more than a role player.
  10. I heard his passport expired, if he got it renewed in a couple of weeks, he did well.
  11. You guys are pointing the finger at the wrong culprits when it comes to overspending and salary, BA and Thomas aren't making a whole lot of money, their replacements would be aprox. $20-25k cheaper. Lunch pail Jake is working for lunch pail wages. The excess spending went to Zach, Brady, Lawler and Schoen, all other player salaries fall more or less within the league norm for the position they play.
  12. They certainly did prior to 2019, every year since Hall's D has become more and more conservative, same goes for ST's.
  13. I suppose if it was we will see a fine levied on the offending player sometime later today.
  14. Re-watch the play, what penalty are you expecting them to call? Maybe they could charge Dobson with fleeing the scene of an accident???
  15. Could be his job was doing exactly what O'Shea told him to do, he was always within ear shot, without those instructions maybe he had little to contribute.
  16. Agree, he didn't look much improved over the guy that left in 2019. It's up to him to prove doubters wrong.
  17. I don't know if this is true but I heard DT talking about eating 8-10 hotdogs in a row, what in god's name would possess anyone to eat more than one?
  18. Wonder what that's all about, can't just be on field performance Ti-Cats are pathetic all around and he's only been there a couple of months. Maybe Reinebold wants his job back.
  19. Walters should be impartial to player personalities, his job is to manage the player personnel within the given budget, when he re-signed Lawler to an excess contract for a receiver, he dropped the ball on fiscal management and it's been rolling down hill ever since. He made choices that sacrificed depth in key position playing for base rates to splash out on a couple pieces of bling and in doing so he upset the apple cart. He needs to rekindle his inner Wally Buono and accept that he is going to be feared by the players.
  20. Caleb Evans once looked promising but he's been in the league 4 years now and done nothing.
  21. The season just started, trading partners will emerge, keep your eye on those Roughriders!
  22. Only way to escape it is thru a trade, not the worst idea ever conceived.
  23. The whole team rested on their laurels, even the veteran players have yet to accept that a multitude of teams have surpassed them in ability. They're still in denial that they are being outplayed and think it's somehow all going to fall into place one of these days. Staying on top is so difficult to balance, it's pretty much impossible.
