Game Day Thread - League Opener: Eskies
Fatty Liver replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I think that was 22 Fenner, not a good play considering the circumstances. -
Agreed Reilly put on a show, pretty hard to fault the DB's or Hall on those bombs as he placed the ball almost perfectly and his receivers made some beautiful catches. Could be the best group of receivers in the league and they still have Mitchell and Kriner in reserve.

Fogg had a big game like this in his rookie year, a big return and a couple of picks. -

Joe Dirt??? -
Think about it, having their children confiscated is definitely a deterrent to families trying to sneak across the border to establish a better life (unwanted), but does nothing to stem the flow of single young men critical to states like California as field labourers (wanted), who are just another exploitable commodity.

Frankly I can't see them running Demski up the gut as he probably hasn't run that way in many years, so that option is probably not as flexible as it was with Flanders. -

Weight is okay but you have to admit Boateng is very short for a D.E. at 6'-0". I think you're mixing up Loffler with Waggoner? Loffler is 100% pure Canuck. -

Quick little pass rusher but he may be susceptible to the run. -

So I surmise Normand was on the field more than I thought but not often lined up in the typical FB position. Thanks. -
Anything is acceptable as long as it doesn't tarnish Jones good name.

Sorry, I'm slow. They already have 5 receivers on the field even when they used Flanders he was lined up as a SB, not as a second HB. They rarely use a true FB and occasionally use that position as a TE by inserting someone like Couture for extra blocking. How is the FB position used the majority of the time? I hardly ever saw Normand on the field. -

The FB position is basically unoccupied, is the plan to insert Augustine in this position or is there a better use for it? -
Taman was criticized severely for doing his accounting on napkins but it appears Jones tries to do it in his bigus fat head or not at all.

I agree but the depth chart lists Fogg. Is that an "official" document that has to be adhered to? -

I think so, they did fine with 7 last year, 3 in the middle 4 outside. I can see both Fogg and Lankford on the field for kickoffs, increases deception. -

Still expect to see a few hiccups until they get accustomed to playing alongside of each other, hopefully this doesn't translate into giving up easy TD's, like in the WSF. -

The D-line could juggle Corney and Thomas throughout the game but I think that would diminish it's effectiveness substantially.
