Right, Roh and Okpalaugo are going to play every down with no rotation. There's a plan.

Without Jeffcoat they're screwed, they should have found a D.E. familiar with the CFL for the P.R. once Corney hit the 6- game. If they have to rotate Rivers in this quickly he's going to generate a bunch of offsides adjusting to the one yard separation. I wonder what Shayon Green is up to?

Regular Season Bomber News & Discussion
Fatty Liver replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The mob is just realigning their sights on their next punching bag. -
Rescinding the HST was a colossal mistake that I will never forgive Christy Clark for allowing to happen.

Geoff Gray Roster Projection-Cleveland
Fatty Liver replied to Westman Rob's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Is he seriously good enough to replace Hardrick right out of the blocks? I kind of doubt it, I think it would take him a good year of playing experience to begin to match the skill level of a vet. import O.T. even if he has all of the physical tools to excel. -
Geoff Gray Roster Projection-Cleveland
Fatty Liver replied to Westman Rob's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Question is, does Gray want to establish a storied football career he can be proud of or does he want to toil in obscurity chasing a rabbit he might never catch and retire anonymously like Bilikudi and Mulamba did? -
Thompkins was chosen ahead of Washington but to this point they have not made use of his talents in a significant way, from the pre-seaon games it looked like he was very well equipped to compete for balls and yet they have not done this.

Matty is in denial, last post game all he could remember were the positives, he thought they were moving the ball well. To be fair he has not been getting the kind of protection he needs to be successful lately.

Go away, we have several powerful machine guns pointed at your head but we're temporarily out of bullets.

Not new news, but old hat. When O'Shea introduced the unproven Drew Willy as his starter at his first press conference I knew something wasn't quite right.

Yay! Way to go Moe. Please teach your QB that simple phrase.

LaPo hasn't been good for Nichols lately, and Nichols hasn't been good for LaPo.

3 stars and hh red hot qb controversy edition
Fatty Liver replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Disappointing yes, but it's a start. Make the playoffs and anything can happen. It might be good that the Bombers are playing horrible ball right now, they have time to work through it, I doubt it can persist for the remainder of the season, but if it does....there will be consequences. -
Nichols looks clunky when he tries to roll out, have to believe the knee brace is a bigger hindrance than he's admitting.
-
Cool but what's the point of killing bugs outdoors? If it worked inside with out causing damage to furniture or making a mess I could see the point.

3 stars plus hh otta be better then this
Fatty Liver replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
In reality you can't expect Lankford or Washington or Petermann or any other inexperienced receiver on the squad to alter and adapt their routes without years of playing experience and a full understanding of the play being called. This is one essential ability that is learned and has helped tiny Dressler establish an all-star career over the past 10 years. -

This especially applies to Dressler, he's very good at breaking off routes and getting into Nichols field of vision at mid-depth to help him out, Nichols relies on him heavily and is less effective when he's absent. Hard to pass that savvy onto a new receiver who is mostly concerned with running the route as designed and holding onto the ball if thrown to. Tasker does the same for Masoli. -
The L.O.S. The L.O.S. is aprox. 1 ft. before the Esks. 15 yd. line, at 2:26 Reilly reaches that point and is still in possession of the ball, by the time he releases the ball his entire body is beyond the 15 yd. line. The caveat is that he was airborne when he released it, but to me a plane is a plane and he definitely broke it. https://www.cfl.ca/2018/08/23/ticats-character-win-aids-sweeping-season-series-vs-esks/

Alright, now we're in to "run shaming"? At least he's not a fat bastard!

I re-watched it five times, he crossed it no doubt, he went a full foot beyond the L.O.S.. How the frick they let that go is beyond me.

AB. has abundant NG, they should have led the way in shutting down coal fired generators, instead they're dragging their heals. If you think they're okay you need to go live down wind from one, it'd shave 5 years off your life.
