  1. Thomkins maybe "a dude" but he's not "The Dude"....
  2. J.H.C. leave the poor guy alone, he's only a barber, she couldn't walk half a block and find another shop? F'en stupid.
  3. Bowman Harris.
  4. I thought Shiltz looked like he had some potential last game but with Manziel now on board I doubt he'll get another opportunity. I see Austin Apodaca is now listed on their P.R.
  5. Looks like the Ti-Cats lost out on Chapman, at least for this year. Haggling months over $10,000 turns out to be a costly mistake for them. Top CFL pick Chapman joining Broncos Wide receiver Mark Chapman, who was taken with the first overall pick in the 2018 CFL Draft by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, has agreed to a deal with the NFL's Denver Broncos, according to TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor. Ahead of signing with the Broncos, Naylor reported that Chapman recently indicated to the Tiger-Cats that he wanted to play in the CFL. The two parties had been unable to reach an agreement following May's draft. In hopes of aiding the negotiation process, Chapman travelled to Hamilton in June to watch the Tiger-Cats play in person. The Broncos will be the second NFL team that Chapman has spent time with. He attended rookie mini-camp with the New York Giants in May. During his collegiate career with Central Michigan, Chapman recorded 2040 yards and 10 touchdowns on 147 career receptions. https://www.tsn.ca/top-cfl-pick-chapman-joining-broncos-1.1148053
  6. Also noticed at 1:25:10 that Goosen hooked his left foot on Neufeld's right leg, which caused him to tumble backwards leading to T.O.'s only sack, so it wasn't the turf monster.
  7. SACKS ALLOWED EDMONTON ESKIMOS 4 Calgary Stampeders 6 Winnipeg Blue Bombers 7 Saskatchewan Roughriders 9 Ottawa Redblacks 9 Hamilton Tiger-Cats 10 Toronto Argonauts 11 BC Lions 12 Montreal Alouettes 17
  8. Difference is the occasional time Demski runs the ball it's an enormous surprise to the D. As a direct replacement for Harris there would be little fall-off with Flanders and a cliff before Demski.
  9. I guess Bowman must be gone. Haters got woodies for Lankford again, nudging Loffler gently aside, on deck Gaitor.
  10. Here's the back-end of the deal, not much for a dominant D.E. TORONTO — The BC Lions have officially acquired defensive end Shawn Lemon from the Toronto Argonauts, the teams announced Tuesday morning, in exchange for a player on the club’s negotiation list.
  11. Nah, I think you've got this one wrong, Kavis offered him a ridiculous amount and the Bombers couldn't come close to matching it. Reports in Feb. had it close to $250,000, $50,000 more than the Bombers offer. Hard to believe the Ti-Cats would even want to pick up the remainder of that contract. Kavis is such a worm, flies to N.J. in person to convince Westerman to sign, then trades him away without even informing him. The sooner the Als can dispose of him the better for the CFL and the future of the Als.
  12. This is literally insane, gotta love Sacha Baron Cohen. Who Is America? (2018) | First Look | Sacha Baron Cohen SHOWTIME Series
  13. From the Coach's Show it sounds like O'Shea will be holding auditions to replace Bowman, he mentioned Lankford, Thompkins, Washington and Simonese. No mention of Petermann and doesn't sound like he would consider Flanders as a replacement as he's too similar in style to Demski and Harris.
  14. It is to laugh, just checked out the "Lock of the Week" on Riderfans and their binging on Harris. Dumb as they are, they're not stupid.
  15. Do we have an issue here, Sonny?
  16. Actually no, I haven't followed the debate but I did work in the city's planning dept. for two years and spent some time working in the Grain Exchange Building so I'm well aware of the issues surrounding that intersection.
  17. Okay....but how do you suppose this will be interpreted in the context of a discussion about Bowman? "Hanging on to an aging wr who clearly can't catch making $140k a season is a waste and we'll likely make a signing during NFL camp cuts."
  18. All of the great things you describe are available or can be expanded upon less than a hop away in the Exchange District on either side of Main St. in quieter pockets. P+M is not a pleasant place to dwell due to the wind shear created by high buildings lining both corridors, this is real and notorious. Can you imagine sitting down to a meal on a patio next to this intersection? I really can't.....traffic noise, traffic volume, traffic pollution and dirt whipped into your food and drink by a whirlwind would make this a once in a life-time event for me. You've been totally sucked in by the "stakeholders" renderings and bullshit if you think this could be morphed into a pleasant environment. Crossing the street is one thing, hanging out is just dumb.
  19. Until they determine that Thomkins, Washington, Lankford, Petermann or Simonese can't fill the gap I'd prefer they hold off on bringing in more bodies.
  20. I think this deal was lined up before Mtl. traded Williams.
  21. I would have preferred they never signed him in the first place but this seems like a reasonable resolution. Rely on the scouts to fill the position and bring on the competition.
  22. Great leader, good motor, 100% effort every play.
  23. I agree, until Demski or Harris go down there isn't a dire need for Flanders.
  24. Fluff. Why isn't he got no hair?
