Impressed that Darvin Adams was chosen as one of the top receivers considering the competition.

The depth of the O-line always makes me nervous, if Bond leaves it's critical that they retain Foketi or find a very competent replacement. If Neufeld starts next year it's critical that they have 2 backups ready to go that can step up and provide good protection for Nichols, maybe Couture and Spooner are those players but that remains to be seen. Without a solid O-line all the progress they've made over the past two years will be quickly lost.

Problem is mid-late season upgrades are almost non-existent under the current system because of this established pecking order.

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)

I wonder what the relationship is with Collaros after this season, can't be good. -
You just can't make this **** up....priceless free entertainment. getfit51 // November 9, 2017 at 2:16 pm // Dunk get lost, was going tom leave a huge post trashing you but wont take the time . Simply stop having WET dreams over our team your not welcome to Rider nation ; drop the wetdream bro mance over BB, Bridge wont sign with your precious Argos, not with Pop who cut him while with Mtl , unless Popp way over pays!!!!! other teams have great talented FA’s pending as well //well prob not your sad asses argo’s so much or mtl. Jones/Oday /Murphy will do what they do SIGN who they really want to keep if it makes good financial sence for the overall team ( they wont over pay , they will just go like Calgary and find uniquely talented others as replacements ). Much to your dismay , C.Reynolds and the RR board have smartly followed the Stamp’s blueprint of how to build recruitment and we the RR nation will be just fine next year with new faces or old//// that is what happens when your franchise has marketing $$$$$ to have agreat dream wish list and obtain it. We the RR nation learned form the best being Calgary/Edmonton franchise and not your sorry joke of a team the Argos !!!!!! Now Dunk go find oyur cryining towel and prey and western teams keep recruiting the BEST talent to the league so oyur pathetic eastern teams can stay somewhat competitive !!!

In Case You Missed It.....Parts 1 & 2
Fatty Liver replied to Mr Dee's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm not convinced that behind O'Shea's good natured aw shucks charm there does not still lie a raging go-mental LBer personality disorder. I wouldn't turn my back on him at a press-conference for a second, especially if my last name was Wiecek. -
I was impressed with the crowd that came out for the E.F. game, would really love to see a demographic breakdown of where the hell all those Argo fans came from. A lot of them were dressed in Argo gear and totally engaged in the game so I don't think that audience was the result of papering the house or corporate freebies for their corporate ******-bag employees.

It took Henoc a long time to get back to his previous form, he wasn't all that good with the Als nor last year with the Riders. It looks to me as if he's dropped at least 20 lbs. from his NFL weight.

In Case You Missed It.....Parts 1 & 2

I've never seen a football coach with his demeanor before, he was born to be an accountant named Murray that simply showed up at the wrong job interview. https://www.argonauts.ca/2017/11/19/trestman_nov-19/ -
It clearly should have read "Riders filled BMO with bullshit".

Joe Mack basically wasted a first round draft pick on a player that immigrated to Canada from the Congo when he was 12 and probably never had any knowledge or interest in the CFL to begin with. I wonder if Joe even bothered to interview him? David Onyemata from the U of M basically stated he had no interest in playing in the CFL either, yet the Riders still drafted him in the 4th round last year.

Bombers Re-sign Neufeld and Hardrick
Fatty Liver replied to TrueBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I think you're right about Gray, seems like the kind of guy that wants to play a few years of pro football in front of family and friends before settling down and pursuing his engineering career. He's not like these other draft picks we've been waiting on forever that are strictly chasing the highest dollar and I think Walters knew that when he drafted him. -
Bombers Re-sign Neufeld and Hardrick
Fatty Liver replied to TrueBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It seems a bit strange that Bond may be the only Bomber player to leave for a shot at the NFL this year as there are usually a few. I guess they would let Jeffcoat go if he requested but I think most who could, have already taken their shot and have given up. Santos Knox is a bit of anomaly in terms of size and skill, I wouldn't be surprised if he gives the NFL another shot down the road. -
Bombers Re-sign Neufeld and Hardrick

I'm guessing he's slated to start next year with Couture backing if Bond is goned. -
You have a points.

As much as the Bombers use the stripping method to generate turnovers, I think the league has to take a look at eliminating turnovers when players are intentionally held up and stripped of the ball. Little guys like Dressler have no chance of retaining possession when 2 or 3 bigger players starting ripping at the ball simultaneously, if they did this to a QB the officals would whistle the play dead immediately.

The Consolidated Bitchfest Thread
Fatty Liver replied to Wanna-B-Fanboy's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Question is why did Goosen not snap the ball, was it because Nichols left his post and was off pursuing the ref? -
He was sporting a cast for much of the second half of the season, so the fact that he broke his hand isn't really a surprise.
-
Sure sounds like O'Shea is at least considering turfing Hall. https://www.bluebombers.com/2017/11/15/coach-oshea-end-of-season-press-conference/
-
He may also have had a change of heart and sees returning home to Mtl. as a viable option to starting sooner.
-
This is O'Shea in 20 years time trying to figure out why he hired Etch as his first D-coordinator.
-
Spooner was left on the PR so he's basically a F.A. as soon as the season ends, I don't see how he can be under contract with the Bombers as some are inferring.
-
Problem is, in the red-zone if Harris is stuffed they're often looking at 2nd and 13, seen that plenty of times in the past.

I believe Hall had a big say in who played and who was let go, as all coordinators should.
