Washington is too damn skinny, he's got twigs for arms.

Flanders is starting here just not at RB, he should be happy to return and Harris should be happy if they bring him back. I'm expecting Walters to preempt F.A. by announcing there will not be as many "big splash" signings as in past years due to budgetary restrictions, just to keep expectations in check. One problem with having a straight shooting, nice guy GM in charge instead of a hard-nosed prick like Wally, Jones or Barker is that he probably pays his vet. players a little too fairly across the board and in an environment like the CFL to stay competitive sometimes the "meat-market" approach gets more bang for the buck finding bargains.

Get with the program, this mob has gathered to collect the head of Richie Hall. One head at a time, please.

If things get blowed up real good in BC with a regime change, Mark Washington may come available and I believe he knows how to deploy LB's properly.

Slow and painful way to progress if they keep losing their first playoff game.

Sure he did look good in limited reps, he went back to school so should be back for T.C.

They moved both White and LB Jevaris Jones to the one game I.R. last week, so sure bet they want to keep them around.

HH to Pat Neufeld, he proved he could play well in place of Bond and stay healthy.

Should this regime be on the hot seat?

Two off-seasons ago one of Walters priorities was to find some big strapping receivers as replacements, they brought in Jace Davis, Thomas Mayo and Gerrard Sheppard but subsequently released all 3 to accommodate Dressler, Smith and Denmark. I think that is a priority that needs to be revisited. Other point, Thorpe was perfect for LaPo's offence, either find another Thorpe clone, or forgive his transgression and scoop him up when Sask. leaves him unprotected in a few weeks time. -
Swayze doesn't seem to be the player he was, cut by BC and couldn't win the job in Edm. either.

Sounds like Medlock is just looking for some love, without losing too much $$.

That is taking the play out of context, there was no reason to call a fake at that time with poor field position in a tight fought play-off game. It was a psychological punch to the gut for O'Shea, the team and every Bomber fan watching the game from which they did not recover. Rewind the memory bank of inappropriate timing and this fake exceeds the stupidity of Medlock's failed pass attempt earlier in the season against BC. No reason for that play call at that time.

None of the analysts have mentioned Flanders, hard to believe they don't recognize his potential contribution to this game, if healthy he should be a key target today.

RB's better start using their arms on tackles, so far their D sucks. -
I would highly recommend "Playmakers", it's a series that takes you behind the scenes into the locker room of a fictional pro football team and covers "football" related topics much better than "Ballers" does. If at all accurate in the details, these pro athletes pay a huge price for their brief football careers in terms of life expectancy and physical health.

Day Before Game Thread with Depth Chart

I suspect they'll dress Lankford just in case Flanders goes down and they might insert him for certain plays. Fogg is going to have a busy day chasing Zylstra, no way he is adding kick off returns to his burden as the chart indicates. -

Not defending anyone found guilty of committing these acts but the tidal wave of accusations rolling in sets a dangerous precedent because an accuser can currently damage or completely ruin an individuals career, livelihood and reputation based upon "he said, she said" evidence. We've already seen this happen to multiple school teachers and this will soon become a tool that the political establishment embraces fully as they try to bring down their opponents any way that they can. In an age when almost every person carries on their person a camera, recording device and instant access to help, the burden of proof should be established before accusations can be publicly exposed. Innocent until proven guilty does little good if an individual has already been publicly humiliated and black-balled.

Oy vey, the odds are certainly stacked this week.
